Ch-48

"Have any of you seen Jin?" Amelia asked, they all shook their heads. "Are you worried?" Luna spoke with a normal face, clearly teasing her. "I..i am not" Amelia looked away and then went away. The others couldn't help but chuckle at her reaction. Amelia glared at Jin who was practicing his sword. Jin was busy practicing his sword skills when he noticed Amelia's glare. He stopped and looked at her, raising an eyebrow curiously. "What?" he asked, oblivious to any reason she might have for glaring.

She didn't want to admit that she was worried for him so decided to tease him, "just nothing. you are really bad in sword." Jin feigned offense at Amelia's words, pretending to be hurt. "Oh, really?" he said with a playful tone. "You think I'm bad with a sword, eh?" He chuckled and spun the sword in his hand skillfully. "I think you'll find I'm quite skilled, actually."

Despite trying to look unaffected, Amelia struggled to keep her eyes off Jin. His skill with the sword was undeniable, and she couldn't help but admire his confident demeanor. Still, she tried to maintain her usual sarcastic facade. "Oh please," she huffed. "I'm sure I can beat you any day." A confident smirk spread across Jin's face as he issued the challenge. "Alright then," he said, gesturing for her to approach, "let's see if you can back up your talk."

"Okay accepted" she stood in front of him, "your sword?" Jin asked in confusion, "i don't use sword." Jin raised an eyebrow in surprise when Amelia accepted his challenge without a weapon. "You don't use a sword?" he repeated, a hint of skepticism in his voice. "Then what are you going to use?"

Amelia paused for a moment, realizing she hadn't thought of a weapon to use. Her eyes darted around as she frantically brainstormed, but nothing came to mind. "Uh..." she mumbled, feeling a bit embarrassed. "I...I haven't quite decided yet."

Jin couldn't help but chuckle at Amelia's predicament. He crossed his arms and leaned back, enjoying the sight of her struggling to come up with a weapon. "Well," he said, a hint of amusement in his voice, "you're going to have to find something if you want to beat me."

Amelia's irritation grew as Jin smirked at her, his cocky demeanor testing her patience. She clenched her fists tightly, feeling a strong desire to wipe that smirk right off his face. Amelia quickly reached for a slim blade that was stored at her side. The blade was designed with a beautiful rose pattern, and its handle was a light red color. Holding the blade firmly in her hand, she looked up at Jin, a determined expression on her face. "Don't underestimate me," she warned, her voice filled with confidence.

Jin chuckled, seeing the small blade in Amelia's hand compared to his own sword. He looked at her with amusement, a hint of disbelief in his voice. "You really think you stand a chance with that little thing against my sword?"

She threw her blade at his direction. Jin's eyes widened in surprise as Amelia suddenly hurled her blade towards him. He reacted swiftly, dodging the blade with a swift movement of his sword. The blade returned to Amelia's hand, as if it had a mind of its own. "Don't ever underestimate me or my blade" she muttered.

Caught off guard, Jin's smirk faded momentarily. He hadn't expected such a quick and unexpected attack from Amelia. He took a quick moment to compose himself, a hint of respect in his eyes. "Fair enough," he admitted. "I underestimated you. But don't think this is over just yet."

"I guess the real fight can start" Amelia smirked, her blade turned in a sword. Jin's eyes widened in surprise as he watched Amelia's blade transform into a sword, revealing her unique power. He chuckled softly, clearly surprised but still determined to win. "Interesting," he mused, a hint of admiration in his voice. "So you have a magical sword, huh? But don't be so sure about winning just yet. I'm not giving up that easily."

Amelia's voice remained steady as she responded to Jin's comment. "Neither do I," she agreed. "Confidence without skill means nothing in a battle. So let's fight fair and square." He smirked, "shall we?"

The atmosphere between them crackled with intensity as both Amelia and Jin advanced towards each other, swords gripped in their hands. They moved with graceful precision, dodging and blocking each other's moves, each strike landing just shy of causing harm. The sound of metal striking against metal filled the air as the intense battle continued.

In the heat of the battle, Amelia couldn't help but mutter a remark to Jin, acknowledging his skills. "You're not so bad yourself," she admitted grudgingly, her breathing slightly ragged from the exertion. "But you should try harder" she said with a smirk.

Jin countered her smirk with one of his own, his tone smug. "Oh, don't worry about me, I can handle whatever you dish out," he replied. "Besides, I'm not trying my hardest either. I wouldn't want to break your pretty little face."

She gritted her teeth, that her jaw almost broke. "Don't worry about my face, Princey" Jin noticed the gritting of Amelia's teeth and chuckled, seeing her irritation at his comment. "Ah, struck a nerve, did I?" he teased. "It's adorable how you try to hide that you care about your face."

They kept sparring until he laid back. "What happened, Princey? Got tired?" Amelia smirked. Despite her attempts to provoke him, Jin merely chuckled at her remark. "Nah, not tired. Just didn't want to exhaust myself on a pointless sparring session." Ignoring her smirk, Jin rose to his feet, dusting himself off. "But I hope you had your fun," he said, a hint of condescension in his tone.

She rolled her eyes, "as if.. just accept your defeat" Jin raised an eyebrow, amused by Amelia's confidence. "Defeat?" he repeated, a hint of incredulity in his voice. "I hate to break it to you, but you haven't even come close to defeating me. If anything, I've been going easy on you."

"Why so?" she posed a question, and he started walking towards her. "Wait, wait what are you doing?" he stood in front of her, towering her. "Because you are my fiancé, and I don't want to hurt you" her gaze softened. For a moment, they shared an eye lock until he spoke, "my father would kill me if I injured you" she widened her eyes and muttered "i thought he was worried for me." Hearing Amelia's muttered comment, Jin chuckled slightly and responded, "Ah, you thought I was worried for you? How sweet. But trust me, it's mostly self-preservation."

"Rude" she muttered under her breath. Jin smirked at Amelia's muttered retort. "Oh, come on now," he teased, his tone slightly mocking. "No need to be so sensitive. I was just being honest. Besides, I think it would be ruder of me to not care about keeping my head attached to my body."

She took her sword back; it transformed back to a blade. "I am done" As Amelia retrieved her blade and made to leave, Jin watched her walk away. There was a hint of amusement in his eyes. "Leaving already?" he called out lazily. "Don't be a sore loser, princess." She turned around and glared at him, "don't provoke me, Princey. I might just strangle you"  Jin chuckled at her glare, not intimidated in the slightest. "Oh please," he retorted with a smirk, "I'd like to see you try, princess."

"Go to hell!" she left. Jin watched as Amelia stormed off, her frustration evident in her tone. He chuckled to himself, enjoying the effect he had on her. "Feisty as always," he muttered, a hint of amusement in his voice.
