Ch-43

The silence of the morning was shattered by a knock at the door. Eomma's voice cut through the stillness, "Jin dear, someone is here for you."

Jin, curious and worried, made his way to the door. As he opened it, he was taken by surprise to find Amelia standing there. Confusion and concern etched across his face, he exclaimed, "What are you doing here?! This place isn't safe for you!!"

Meanwhile, the other brothers began to stir, roused from their sleep by the commotion. Their eyes widened as they, one by one, spotted their respective princesses outside.

The brothers followed one another out of the house, greeted by Eomma's concerned advice. "You all should talk inside," she insisted, mindful of the potential danger of being spotted.

Jimin's worried gaze met Luna's, his voice gentle yet firm. "You shouldn't be here," he chided.

Luna's determination shone through her response. "I had to," she replied, "I don't want you to face any dangers alone."

Jimin sighed, his expression softening with a smile at her unwavering loyalty.

Amelia took charge, revealing her role in gathering everyone together despite the risks involved. Jin sighed, his concern evident in his words. "Even though you knew it's dangerous, still?"

Diana chimed in, her voice firm but filled with determination. "We know," she agreed, "but it's clear the enemy won't leave us alone. If they targeted you first, then they will obviously come after the ones you all know."

Jin's voice held a mix of concern and mild irritation as he spoke to Amelia. "Still...you all shouldn't have come here," he tried to reason.

Amelia turned to Eomma, her words laced with amusement. "Eomma, how do you handle them?" Eomma chuckled in response, finding amusement in the banter.

But Jin immediately interrupted, "Yah, don't brainwash her."

Amelia couldn't resist teasing him, her smirk growing wider. "But she likes me more than you," she said, clearly relishing in his annoyance.

Frustration and uncertainty were evident in Jin's voice as he spoke. "Whatever. What's the plan now?"

The girls and brothers glanced at Jin, their expressions filled with disbelief. "Why are you asking us?" Amelia responded, her voice tinged with disbelief. "You should be the one sharing a plan instead."

Jin sighed deeply, his expression weary. "I don't know what to do," he admitted. "Yesterday I found my assistant betraying me, and now I also have no idea who our enemy is."

The room fell into a thoughtful silence as the brothers considered Jimin's question. "Before disappearing, we had planned to visit you all," he reminded everyone, referring to their original intention before they were taken captive.

Luna and Amelia exchanged knowing glances as Jimin mentioned the mysterious woman at their father's birthday. Yoongi's voice cut through the stillness, questioning, "Do you think she did this?"

Luna pondered aloud, her confusion evident. "Maybe... She could be the one doing all this. But I don't understand, why did she make you all her target instead of us?"

Namjoon's voice held a thoughtful tone as he responded. "There must be a big reason for that as well."

Jungkook asked, his curiosity piqued. "What could it be?" Daisy leaned against his shoulder, her presence a comfort.

Yoongi ran a hand through his hair, frustration etching his features. "We need more information. We need to find out everything we can about that woman"

"We can prove some information related to her" Amelia said and provided a crucial piece of information, "Her name is Dracie. She is my and Luna's cousin who was expelled 10 years ago, just at the time when your father won the war."

A collective gasp escaped the brothers' lips, the revelation sinking in.  Jin's eyes widened in disbelief. "She got expelled? And she's related to you two?"

Luna's voice was laced with a tinge of uncertainty as she shared her knowledge.

"We don't know much, but I've heard that she supported her sister during the war and used black magic," she explained. "I'm not completely certain, but I guess that's why she got expelled."

Jimin's question hung in the air, his voice filled with concern. "What happened to her sister, then?"

Amelia's response was direct and blunt. "She is dead."

Taehyung posed a possibility, his voice tinged with concern. "What if she holds us responsible for her sister's death?"

They all fell into thoughtful silence, contemplating Taehyung's question. Then, Luna spoke up, her voice filled with conviction. "I don't think so..."

Her words hung in the air, carrying an unspoken implication. "She was just greedy for power" she clarified.

Jin's voice broke the silence, sharing a possible explanation. "Maybe her sister wanted power, that's why she attacked our kingdom," he said, "and then when she died, Dracie tried to take our place."

The room fell into a contemplative quiet once again, each of them processing the unfolding events and the complexities of their situation. A solemn nod graced the group as they collectively acknowledged the gravity of the situation.

"Whatever it is, she is plotting against us," Luna stated with a sense of determination, her voice steady. Jimin echoed her sentiment, his tone resolute, "We need to be more careful from now on, especially you" Jimin said, his gaze fixed on Luna.

"But how come she is using black magic? Is it a demon act?" Taehyung asked and the princesses made a strange expression. "Does demon exist?" Diana asked in disbelief. "I saw it myself!! It was so big, it had big claws and red eyes"

Jungkook explained, "why were you there but?" Annalise asked in concern. "They made sure we never come back together." Jin spoke, Namjoon added, "Jungkook wanted to find us" Jungkook spoke, "that demon was going to devour me" all the girls widened their eyes. "We came there at the nick of time and saved him" Hoseok said.

Amelia's voice broke through the tension, her words firm yet filled with reassurance. "Nevermind, you all are safe now. That's what matters," she said, her gaze fixed on the boys. "We need to be prepared for anything, ready for a serious fight." Jin nodded in agreement, his mind already working on a plan. "We need to prepare," he affirmed. Taehyung's voice cut through the tension, his concern for their parents evident in his question.

"What about Father and Mother?" Luna's voice held a confident tone as she answered Taehyung's question. "They are safe," she said, her words bringing a sense of reassurance to the group. Jimin's expression mirrored the confusion coursing through him. "How do you know?" he questioned. Luna responded, her voice calm and steady. "Both our fathers' conflict is over. Your parents are currently residing in our palace," she explained.
