Ch-32

The seven brothers are sitting together when Jimin broke the silence. "Is anyone plotting against us?" Jimin asked, sighing. "Why do you think that?" Jin asked, still worried. "Since the fight between both the kings, and then losing our powers, it's seriously.." Jimin ran his hand through his hair in frustration, "something is wrong!!" Hoseok nodded in agreement. "I agree with Jimin," he said. "This all feels too strange to be coincidental."

Yoongi's face hardened. "We can't rule out the possibility of someone plotting against us, but without any evidence, it's all just speculation." They all nodded. "But still.. What if someone actually plotting against us?" Namjoon asked when Jimin spoke, "actually... I have been witnessing strange events happening recently.. I mean maybe since Jungkook got lost.. Or maybe before when princess Amelia and Luna disappeared on their way to here"

Taehyung's eyebrows furrowed as Jimin spoke. "What kind of strange events?"
Jimin shook his head, obviously agitated. "I'm not sure but I have this sense of foreboding. I can't shake the feeling since the disappearance of the princesses to the loss of our powers are somehow connected."

"And since that time.. I have been witnessing a strange stone... I mean when I asked luna for further examine, she told me that stone wasn't ordinary, but it had black magic on it.. And I noticed whenever I was near that stone, I was never able to fly.. It blocked my powers.." Everyone listened intently to Jimin. "Every time something strange happened, I noticed either that stone or something else... Like maybe.. A demon" They all froze excluding Jungkook.

There was a palpable tension in the air as Jimin finished his explanation. The implications of his words hung heavy in the room. "You think... it's a demon behind all this?" Namjoon asked, his voice filled with a mix of disbelief and concern.

"I know it's hard to believe but-" Jin interrupted Jimin, "it's not hard.. I understand where you are coming from and trust me since that event in the village, I am too shaken as well.. A man can't get a virus out of nowhere and spread it and then a lake cursed? It's totally strange for such things to happen"

The brothers exchanged worried looks, each trying to process the weight of Jimin's words and the events he was describing. Hoseok broke the silence. "If it is a demon, what could be its motive for targeting us?"

"You guys remember that woman? Who came to father's birthday party" Taehyung asked and Namjoon replied, "what about her?"

"She was strange" Jungkook said, "and it looked like she had a rivalry with Euphoria kingdom" They all looked at Jin and Jimin, "amelia didn't tell me anything" Jin sighed, "well.. Luna didn't tell me the whole.. But she did tell me, that woman could do anything.. That's why when she looked at my direction, Luna came in front of me.. As if she was aware that the woman could hurt me" Jimin said.

Hoseok's eyes widened. "So, you're saying that woman could have magical abilities? And she might have a grudge against our kingdom?" Jimin shrugged and sighed. "It's getting frustrating" Yoongi spoke, "what if we get our answers if we meet with them? I know their father doesn't want us with them but maybe their information about that woman could help us get to the answer we want"

The others nodded in agreement. "It's worth a shot," Namjoon said. "We need to get to the bottom of this, and they may have information we don't have."

"But how will we go? If their father isn't allowing, it doesn't mean the guards will let us in. And since Jimin hyung can't fly anymore, how will we talk with the princesses?" Jungkook reminded with worry.

Yoongi nodded, acknowledging the difficult situation. "You're right, Jungkook. It won't be easy to get past their guards or their father's restrictions." Namjoon spoke up, "But we have to try, right? We can't just ignore the possibility of getting answers from them. We'll figure out how to get past their security."

"There's something.. Only me, Luna and her sister knows" Jimin whispered. "Although it's her secret but it's a way I can meet her secretly" The brothers looked at Jimin with intrigue. "What is it?" Hoseok asked, leaning in closer. Jimin hesitated and looked up at his brothers. "Luna...... is an animagus"

The princes were taken aback by this revelation. "An animagus?" Namjoon repeated, disbelief in his voice. "So, Luna can turn into a different animal at will?" Jimin shook his head, "no but she is a swan" They all looked at Jimin in surprise. "A swan?" Yoongi repeated. Jimin nodded, "Yes, she is a swan animagus. It's her secret because she doesn't want anyone to know."

"And I know where she goes whenever she transforms to a swan" The brothers looked at Jimin, eagerly awaiting more information. "Where?" Namjoon asked, curiosity piqued. "I always go to a lake side, which is at the edge of the forest between the kingdoms. I met her for the first time there only. Because I can understand swan language, I found out she was a princess"

The princes listened intently to Jimin's explanation. "You can understand swan language?" Taehyung asked incredulously. Jimin nodded, "I feel sorry to Luna for revealing her secret without her permission" Hoseok placed a hand on Jimin's shoulder. "Don't feel guilty, Jimin. We need any information we can get at this point. Besides, we're not going to tell anyone."

Jimin nodded. Yoongi added, "And if Luna trusts you enough to reveal her secret, I'm sure she'll understand why you had to tell us."

"Then we will-" Jin was interrupted by hwan gyu. "Your highness before leaving the castle, please have your drinks" Jin nodded. The maids served them the drinks and they just gave out an appreciating smile. The princes raised their glasses in an appreciative gesture to the maids. They each took a sip of their drink, assuming it to be their regular beverage.

After drinking, when Jin stood up to speak, he suddenly felt his head dizzy. "Ahh.." He fell on his seat and looked at his brothers. "Hey, hey... Y'all? Stay with me..." He tried to go closer to them but he himself felt weaker.

One by one, the other brothers started to feel the effects of the drink they had consumed. Hoseok stumbled on his feet; his vision blurry. Namjoon tried to speak but his words came out slurred and incoherent.

Jungkook's eyes filled with tears.. He can't see his brothers like that.. He tried to shake Yoongi. "Hyung... Wak.." Jungkook was the last one who fell unconscious. Yoongi managed to mumble something incoherent before his eyes rolled back and he passed out. The princes lay sprawled on the floor, unconscious and vulnerable.
