How was this happening? More to the point, what was happening? Izuku's inner Omega had pretty much taken control and was thoroughly enjoying himself. Izuku had not expected Bakugo to react this way, especially after the dream that the poor Omega had just had. Was he still dreaming?

The Alpha was still playing with Izuku's sensitive nipples, using a mixture of his fingers and tongue to elicit a true variety of moans out of the Omega's own mouth. Izuku had no idea that he could feel like this just from his nipples. He had toys to help him through his heats, but this was something else. If the Alpha was good at this, imagine what else he could do...

No, they needed to talk. Before anything more happened Izuku needed to put a stop to this. The Omega needed a clear head. He needed to know that how Bakugo felt, well he could see how he felt. But, things were moving far too quickly.

"K-Ka-Kacchan," however, it was a challenge to refocus his mind at the current moment in time. He tried again, "Kacchan, w-we need to t-talk."

"Oh we will," Bakugo began to move his hand lower, delicately grazing the hem of Izuku's pyjama bottoms. That was enough to snap the Omega right out of it.

"Kacchan, stop now!" Izuku scrunched his eyes shut, expecting the Alpha to lash out.

Yet, when Izuku reopened his eyes, what he saw shocked him more. He could see sadness in those crimson eyes. It only lasted for a second, then it was gone.

Bakugo stood quickly, moving himself away from Izuku who was still on the floor. The Alpha sat on the sofa, his eyes never leaving Izuku.

"You want to talk, Deku. Right, let's talk."

This was more how Izuku had expected it to go, but he still wasn't prepared. The whole atmosphere of the apartment had shifted. How should he start? Should he just tell Bakugo to reject him now? Save him any more heartache.

"What are you waiting for? You usually have plenty to say, I'm not going to stop you. I'm perfectly fine waiting here until you explain yourself, Omega."

There it was again. How could one word have so much power over him? Izuku tried to hide the shiver, but the smirk on the blond Alpha's face told him he hadn't been so lucky. Although the Alpha looked pissed, Izuku could clearly see that he was enjoying making the smaller male uncomfortable.

"W...well, I was er... planning on telling you...at some point. It's just the fake Beta p...persona that I had built whilst we were at UA was easier to m...maintain. It wasn't until my birthday party that I realised I would n...need to come clean," great, he was making a mess of it, "I know that you are cross that I didn't tell you, Kacchan. It's just that we had drifted and we aren't that close anymore. The others knew that you would find out sooner..."

Oh dear, Izuku could smell the intense pheromones seeping out of the Alpha. Quickly, he moved to sit close to the Alpha. Not touching him, but he could if he needed to. What he did need to do was fix the mistake he's just made.

"Who knew?" was all the Alpha said.

"It doesn't matter, Kacchan," though he knew that it did. He began releasing his own sweet pheromones, hoping that they would be enough.

Thankfully, they did seem to have an impact. Izuku watched as Bakugo's shoulders dropped slightly. It was a start.

"Who knew?" Izuku knew that Bakugo wouldn't give up.

He sighed before telling him a short list of school staff and friends. He had almost finished the list when he felt Bakugo tense again.

"That half-and-half bastard knows you're an Omega? Does he know that we're fated mates, Deku?"

Izuku wasn't sure how Bakugo was talking with his jaw clenched so tight. He subtly nodded, there was no point in hiding anything else from the Alpha. It would just be another nail in his coffin.

"Wait-was that why he was here? What were the two of you doing?" Bakugo was on his feet before Izuku could move to stop him. The Alpha was heading for the door, growling something about murdering the other Alpha.

"Kacchan wait! Please, let me explain," he grabbed the Alpha's sleeve and slightly powered up his quirk to stop the Alpha from leaving, "Todoroki was only here as a friend. He was just checking in on me. He gave me a hug as he left, that is the only reason you smelt me on him earlier."

The Omega could see the blond thinking over what he'd just said. "Wait, do you know about what that fucker said to me? That fucking café that he sent me to?" Izuku again nodded, only an idiot would respond with words.

For some reason that did seem to calm Bakugo down. Izuku couldn't believe that the often impulsive Alpha had begun laughing.

"Oh wow, I really did fall for that extra's idiotic plan to get rid of me. You won't be telling anyone about what happened Deku. I mean it," the seriousness was back in his voice as he moved to face the Omega. Bakugo took Izuku's hand and led them back to the sofa. "Look, I get it. It can't be easy wanting to be a hero and being an Omega. You just need to understand it all from my point of view. You kept it secret from me. You ran from me, Deku."

Izuku looked up at the Alpha's captivating red eyes. How had he kept it from the Alpha, from his Alpha. He should be ashamed of himself really. He could feel tears building behind his own eyes.

"I'm so sorry Kacchan. I was just so scared of how you would react. I know that our relationship is better than it used to be, I just jumped to the conclusion that you would hate me again," tears were now streaming down the shorter male's face. Bakugo pulled him close, gently rubbing small circles on his back.

"I know, we just need to work on our communication if things are going to work out between us."

The Omega rubbed his eyes and looked back up at the blond, "you want to give this a go? You actually want to be in a relationship with me?" Izuku pulled back a little more, how was this going to work?

"Yeah Nerd, I do. You're my fated mate, we're made for one another. I know that it won't be easy, but nothing worthwhile ever is."

Izuku was crying for a whole different reason now. He threw himself into the Alpha's arms, immediately feeling calmer. Could this truly be happening? His inner Omega had begun purring, yet, part of him couldn't help but think that this was all too good to be true.
