A/N: Thank you to those who are reading this story. I know that I haven't published anything in a while. I had a baby in the summer last year so have been a little busy.

The day before the party.

"Why have I agreed to go to this stupid party?" Katsuki growled as he sipped his beer. He was at his local bar with his redhead best friend. "We don't even hang out with Deku and his group of extras anymore, well I definitely don't."

"Oh come on, Bakubro. You know it's an important birthday for him. You told me that you are working on your friendship, he forgave you for all of that past stuff. I know that he'd appreciate you being there," Kirishima responded. It was just the two of them, they had finished their patrol together and were relaxing at their local bar after a busy day of fighting villains.

"You don't need to remind me about all of that. I know that he forgave me" Though I now just have to forgive myself. Katsuki downed the last of his beer and stood up. "I'm heading home, I'll see you tomorrow."

Kirishima nodded as he too finished his drink. "See you tomorrow, I'll pick you up on the way."

By the time Kirishima has finished talking, Katsuki is already out of the door. A row of taxis lined the street ahead of him, he could not be bothered to walk and he had enough cash left to get him home.

The taxi driver attempted to make idle conversation with the blonde Alpha, however, Katsuki was really not interested in the slightest. He sat there and stared out of the window. The city was busy tonight, he's glad he's not patrolling. Lately he's been working more day shifts, fine by him. He can enjoy a good night's sleep. Emerald eyes pop into his mind, was going to the Nerd's party really a good idea? He had been on his mind a lot recently, much to his annoyance.

The Alpha had arrived home without realising. Shaking his head as he paid the driver and got out of the car. He hadn't seen Deku in a while, why was the Beta on his mind so much lately? He was nothing special, definitely not his fated mate. Katsuki had been 21 for a couple of months and he wasn't drawn to the greenette' s scent. No, he definitely hadn't had some questionable dreams recently. No, he definitely hadn't woken up panting and sweating. No, he hadn't thought about the green nerd being underneath him, pressed against his body. Them moving together as one, their scents mixing as the blonde dominated the Beta. His Beta.

No, no, that was not going to happen. He only slept with Omegas and definitely not the shit nerd! "Argh!" Katsuki groaned as he shoved his apartment door open. He really needed to get his shit together before the party tomorrow. Maybe he shouldn't go. No, then Shitty Hair would ask a stupid amount of fucking questions. He had to go, he'd have some beers and disappear without the Beta noticing.

That night's sleep was again interrupted by those mesmerising green eyes. Katsuki and Izuku were walking together down the street, it was busy and they were conversing about this and that. Mainly All Might and Deku's infatuation for the retired Hero. Suddenly, there was a loud bang from across the street, screaming and shouting echoed around the two. Buildings were shaking and crumbling, they had to act and act quickly.

"Dynamite! Over there, I can see some trapped civilians." Deku yelled as he ran over to the crumbling building.

"Don't tell me what to do, Deku!" Katsuki responded as he blasted his way over. They were off duty but couldn't sit back and do nothing.

The two heroes successfully rescued several civilians, helping them to safety. They were all very thankful but Katsuki could see more people struggling and dashed off towards them.

Katsuki glanced around, the Alpha thought it a little strange that no other heroes appeared to assist them. However, he brushed it off as he had to focus on the task at hand. There was no time to waste, the buildings were crumbling around the two Heroes.
