Izuku slumped his delicate body against the back of his apartment door and slid to the floor. He can hear the muffled conversation, between the two Alphas, happening on the other side. Not long before someone, or something was shoved into the door itself.

He muffled a grunt as he was knocked forward, almost hitting his head on the wooden floor. He hoped the two were ok out there, it sounded like it might be getting heated. He cannot go out there, if Kacchan was to smell him now, the Alpha would know. He would reject him, he knew it. Kacchan would not want to be his Alpha.

Izuku could then hear popping sounds coming from the hallway. He hoped that wasn't Kacchan's quirk, but he knew the sound well. The Alpha knew better, he was not supposed to use his quirk unless he was fighting a villain. Izuku listened, his ear now resting against the door. Silence all he could hear now. What had happened out there? Should he open the door? He really wished that he had one of those peep holes.

A gentle knock startled the Omega. He paused, freezing in his current position. The knock came again. He hesitated, surely that must be Todoroki. The other Alpha would have knocked his door to the ground.

The Omega opened the door slightly, he was right. Standing there was his friend. Izuku leapt into his arms, before checking him over for any cuts or bruises.

"Are you ok? I heard a loud bang, I thought you two might be fighting. The door banged, and I'm sure that I could hear Kacchan's quirk. Did he blast you? Do we need to file a report?" he waffled on until the Alpha rested his hand on the Omega's arm.

"I am ok, Midoriya. You do not need to worry so much. I managed to get rid of Bakugo. Though, I'm sure it won't take him long to figure out that I tricked him."

"Tricked him? What do you mean?" Izuku asked, looking up at the Alpha that was smiling down nervously at him.

Todoroki then went on to explain how he had told Bakugo about the café and the Omega that owned it, when he had smelt Izuku's scent on him.

"Oh, I see," Izuku wasn't quite sure how to respond to this. He was surprised by the blonde's reaction to discovering that he had a mate. He had been quite certain that Kacchan would have hated the idea. Being tied down to someone, having them depend on you and be all needy during their heats. His heart warmed a little, maybe there was hope for him and his childhood friend.

Though he was also concerned about the Omega at the café. Kacchan did not always give off the best first impression. He could end up causing some damage if he didn't watch his temper.

"He might be back though, I know that he wanted to speak with you. He was quite adamant about that. Be careful and please keep your door locked. If he gets a whiff of your scent, who knows what that hot-headed Alpha will do."

Izuku couldn't help but giggle, he was pleased that his friend had helped him. He could not believe that Kacchan had fallen for that. If and when the truth came out, he would not be able to keep quiet about that. He knew some other Alphas and Betas that would also find it rather amusing.

Izuku yawned behind his hand, "sorry, today has been a lot."

Todoroki just smiled and nodded, "I shall leave you be. Get some rest and call me if you need anything, Especially if you have any unwanted visitors."

The Omega nodded, the two saying their goodbyes before Izuku headed back into his apartment. He went straight to his nest, he needed a nice long nap to shake off the day so far. Izuku shuffled a couple of blankets around, making sure they were perfectly positioned. He grabbed his favourite pillow and nestled in for a nap.

He was standing outside the UA gates, it was dark, the moon illuminating the ground around him. It was the night of his birthday party, when he had run off. Yet, this time he wasn't alone.

He turned to face away from the towering gates. There stood an Alpha, technically it was his Alpha. What should he do? Run? Find somewhere to hide? That was silly, the blonde knew he was there.

"H...hi Kacchan. What are y...you doing here?" why did he have to stumble over his words now of all times.

"Nerd, why did you run off?" as always the Alpha was straight to the point. He was moving towards him, like a predator might stalk its prey.

"Erm...I just needed some...air. Yes, I'm sorry. It was all getting too much in there for me. You know that I don't like all that attention. It was easier to just leave. I'm sure that everyone is having a great time. They don't need me there," By the time the Omega had finished speaking, the Alpha was standing right in front of him. Their faces were mere feet apart.

"Stop mumbling, damn nerd. I don't believe you."

"B..but it's the truth," he looked up into those deep crimson eyes. Wow, Kacchan really is a handsome Alpha.

"No it isn't. And I'll tell you something else that isn't true," he paused, learning closer until his lips were almost touching the Omega's ear. "You are not a Beta."

Izuku felt hot. The breath of the Alpha ticked his ear and he could feel himself losing control. This was not happening. How did he know? Had someone at the party told him?

"I...don't know what you're talking about?" it came out far to breathy, he could feel a small amount of wetness pooling in his underwear.

"Oh I think that you do, Omega. I can smell you. I can smell that sweet slick of yours too. Are you wet for me, Izuku?"

The Omega quietly moaned in reply. He wasn't sure what was happening, but he had to admit that he was enjoying himself a little.

"Kacchan, I'm sorry. I didn't know how to tell you," Izuku's mood had shifted. He was sniffling now, wanting to reach out and be held by the Alpha. He reached out. His hand was slapped away.

"What are you doing?" Bakugo sneered, taking a large step back so that the Omega tripped forward. "Why would I want to get any closer to you? You think that I want you? Why would I? An Omega that's a hero? What good is that?"

Izuku was breathless, his chest was tightening and he could hear a loud pounding in his head. What was Kacchan saying? Was he rejecting him?

It was as if the Alpha could hear his thoughts, "I am rejecting you, Omega. I don't want an Omega that wouldn't be prepared to stay at home. I would be the one to work, I would need someone to stay at home and raise out pups, clean the house and keep me satisfied. That would not be you," the last part came out as a laugh.

The Omega was in full floods of tears by now. How could this be happening to him? Why was this happening to him?

Before the Alpha turned to leave, he said, "goodbye Deku, you won't be seeing me again."

At that, Izuku felt his heart split in two.

His eyes shot open, he was in his nest. It had been a dream, no, a nightmare. Kacchan had rejected him. That was exactly why he could not tell the Alpha the truth. Speaking of the Alpha, he was currently aggressively banging on the Omega's apartment door.

"Deku! Open the door! I am not leaving until you open this door!"
