"So you are going to give a relationship a go?" Uraraka asked as she sipped her tea. She had come over to see her friend as soon as Izuku had called her. The Alpha had left about an hour before he had called her.

"Yeah, we are. I can't believe it, I can't believe how he acted," Izuku couldn't hide the blush that crept across his face.

"What did you two do? You aren't in heat she can't have marked you?" she shuffled around on the sofa to try and get a better look at his neck.

The Omega pushed her away, "No, nothing like that. We fooled around a little, but nothing serious. His pheromones were just too hard to resist at first. If I hadn't come to my senses I don't know what would have happened though."

"Wow, I did not expect Bakugo to be so forward so soon. I thought I'd get here and your apartment was going to have been destroyed. He's always such an angry Alpha. I know you didn't want him to find out, but you must be relieved?"

"I know, I am. Though he nearly set fire to the hallway when he was talking to Todoroki."

"Wait, Todoroki was here? I thought he was visiting his mum, that's why he asked to swap with Iida."

Izuku felt a little lost, why had the two-tone Alpha lied to him, "Oh yes. He just called in to see me on his way to the hospital." He'd be having a conversation with the Alpha later. The Omega couldn't see any reason to drag his other friends into that discussion. There must be a reason that he'd lied to them and him.

"So, when are you next seeing your Alpha?"

"He isn't my Alpha, well not yet anyway. He's cooking for me tomorrow. I can't deny that I'm excited, though it still feels a little unreal to me. Like I'm about to wake up from a dream," his mind drifted back to the dream, no nightmare, he'd had before his secret had been revealed, "anyway, things seemed to click with the two of us so I'm trying to stay positive."

"I think that's a good idea, but still be mindful of how Bakugo can be. You two have a complicated history and I won't see you hurt."

Izuku reached forward to give the Beta a hug, she really was his dearest friend. As they broke apart, her phone pinged. It was Iida.

"You should go, I'll call you after I've been to Kacchan's tomorrow."

"You'd better," she was such a bossy Beta.

They said their goodbyes and the Omega decided to head to bed for a nap. He had been feeling quite tired lately.

                                 ______________________________________________________

Izuku slept until the following day. He woke naturally, after a dreamless sleep and was rustling around in his nest as though he was searching for something or someone that was missing.

He didn't have much planned for his day, that was until he was going to Kacchan's. He'd never been to the Alpha's apartment, they didn't spend much time together outside of work. But that was hopefully going to change. The Alpha wanted to court him, and wanted to give their relationship a go. And to be truthful, Izuku wanted that to. He was determined to remain optimistic about it all.

The Omega did his best to occupy his time during the day, but he found himself constantly clockwatching. Counting down until he could see the Alpha again. What would he have planned for them? It would just be the two of them, that thought made Izuku feel a little hot and bothered. No, he had to stay in control of his pheromones. They weren't horny teenagers, they could control themselves. Izuku busied himself with cleaning and reorganising his All Might collection, something he did more often than he was willing to admit. As he placed the last figure back on the top shelf, his phone began to beep, startling the Omega. He had set an alarm so he wasn't going to be late. He knew how much Kacchan appreciated punctuality.

He checked himself in his wardrobe mirror, trying his best to tame his unruly green hair. He had decided on dark jeans, a short sleeve green shirt and his usual red trainers. Hopefully that would do.

Kacchan lived a short drive away, he thought about using his quirk to get there but had decided to pre-order a taxi. He didn't think it wise to show up all dishevelled and sweaty. Thankfully the Taxi was right on time, so far so good.

Izuku twiddled his thumbs the entire journey, anxiety building in his stomach. He did know how he was going to eat anything, he hoped that Kacchan had cooked something simple.

The taxi came to a sudden stop, the taxi driver saying, "I'm so sorry sir, we need to take a diversion there appears to be a roadblock in place due to a villain attack."

"What? Where?" Izuku was craning his neck to see what was going on down the street. The driver pointed ahead, sure enough there was a large crowd of people up ahead. What should he do? He wasn't on duty but he might be able to help. What if he just carried on and someone was severely injured, or died? No, he'd already made his mind up. He was going to help. He apologised to the taxi driver and leapt out of the car. It was prepaid, he didn't need to worry about that right now.

The Omega charged up his quirk as he raced down the street, sending a quick text to Kacchan letting him know why he'd be late. As he got closer he could see that there were already heroes on the scene. They were battling a couple of villains that had thought it clever to rob a bank. Did they really have nothing better to do? They knew they'd be caught, why bother at all?

He powered on, locating a familiar face. Kirishima was standing close to the barriers, it looked as though he was taking point on this one. The Omega landed loudly a few feet away and ran over,

"Kirishima, I'm here. I know that I'm not on shift but I can help. Where do you need me?"

The red haired Alpha took a moment to process the new addition, "oh hi, Midoria. It's great to see you and thanks for the offer but I think we've got everything covered-" as he spoke there was a loud bang. Then what Izuku presumed to be one of the villains could be seen sprinting out of the Bank and down one of the streets.

Izuku made the immediate decision to chase after him. He knew that he would be able to catch him and the other heroes were still focusing on the Bank itself. True to that, the villain didn't get very far. The Omega tackled him to the ground, rolling across the hard concrete with him.

The two lay there for a moment, the villain panting and Izuku noticed a desperate look in his eyes as he glanced for an opening to escape. Was he going to use his quirk? The villain sniffed the air, "you're an Omega," there was now a wicked smile on his face.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Villain," Izuku was trying his best to calm his pheromones down. He'd sprayed himself with a suppressant deodorant before he'd left, just enough to last the taxi journey. All of this had not been part of his plan. Especially since the villain that he'd been so intent on capturing was an Alpha.

"No, I know what I can smell. I have just the thing for you," he reached into one of his jacket pockets and pulled out a syringe.

Danger sense fired up, but someone else had come to check on the Omega.

"Deku, are you slacking off? Hurry up and arrest the extra." Izuku turned to see the blond Alpha moving towards him. Wow, he looked good. He must have come to help too. However, as the Omega turned he felt something sharp stick into his chest. Oh, that was not pleasant.

He doubled over as a sharp pain shot through his body. What was in that needle?

"Deku? What? Are you ok?" Kacchan was there, holding him in his arms, "you're going to be ok. Stay awake. What did he inject you with?"

It was no use, Izuku couldn't keep his eyes open. They were just too heavy and his Alpha smelt so good, his eyelids closed and he was gone.
