Chapter 8: Knocking Down a Door

Katsuki continued banging on the door to Deku's apartment. He would be speaking to the Beta here and now. He would deal with that half-and-half bastard later. Right now, he had to speak with the nerd. Something had happened the night of the party, he needed to know what. Therefore, the Alpha had wasted no time in refocusing his attention back on the green haired male.

Todoroki had said that Deku was unwell, yet he had been down right afraid of the blond Alpha when he had seen him. He had slammed the door on both him and the other Alpha. That was another puzzle that would be solved today. Something wasn't adding up here.

"Deku!" he shouted, as the bangs continued, "I know you are in there, I'm not leaving until you open this door and speak to me." He waited, he wanted to give the Beta a chance before he took matters into his own hands. He had matured somewhat since the war and they had graduated.

There was no reply. He really shouldn't be doing this, but the stupid nerd had given him no alternative.

He began to heat up his hands, debating on whether he should melt the hinges or just destroy the door itself. The popping of the nitro-glycerine echoing in the hallway, destroying the door would be quicker. However, as he lifted his hands toward the door, he heard a click. Pausing, he lowered his hands and took a small step back. Had Deku changed his mind?

There was another click and the door opened no more than a few inches. Katsuki squinted at the gap. All he could see were two bright emerald eyes, it appeared as though the rest of the shorter male was wrapped up in a blanket of sorts.

"Oh, hi Kacchan. What are you doing here? I'm sorry, I'm not feeling well. I didn't realise it was you earlier. My head is all over the place, I was just confused when you were here earlier. I was just asleep so I didn't hear you knocking at first," his voice was small and Katsuki could swear he sensed a fearful undertone.

"Oh I think you know why I am here, Deku. Open the door, we need to talk." He went to put his foot in the gap.

"I don't think that's a good idea, Kacchan. You don't want to catch what I've got. You'd be off work for a week."

"Don't be ridiculous, I'm an Alpha, I don't get ill. Now, open the door." Katsuki went to shove the door fully open but felt the air buzz with energy. "Deku, what are you doing? Why are you using your quirk?" The Alpha was genuinely confused. What was Deku playing at?

"Kacchan, stay back. Please, I don't want to hurt you," Deku's quirk was making it impossible to get inside. There was only one alternative.

"Deku, open the door," Katsuki used his Alpha command. It was his only option, the shitty nerd wasn't listening to him.

As expected, Deku's quirk powered down and he stepped to one side, allowing the door to swing open. As it did, the Alpha was hit with a scent so captivating and intoxicating he thought he was about to go into a rut.

He blinked to refocus his mind, looking around the room in desperation. Where was the smell coming from? Why did Deku have his mate's scent in his... Wait, it couldn't be. No, this wasn't happening.

"Deku, what's going on?" Katsuki made direct eye contact with the smaller male. He could feel his own pheromones enveloping the space around him.

"I...I can explain," he hugged the blanket together, the Alpha now realising that it was the blanket that was masking the scent. He must have sprayed it with something.

"Yes, I think that you should," with each word he took a step closer, until he was face to face with his mate. He reached down and unwrapped the blanket from around his body. Deku tried to stop him, but Katsuki cocked his eyebrow and he stopped.

Once the blanket was fully removed, Katsuki sniffed. There it was, that delicious green apple scent. He had found his mate and it was this extra. The nerd he had known since they were both pups.

"Mate," Katsuki couldn't help but grin as he said it.

Katsuki was still standing very close to the newly discovered Omega, thoroughly enjoying the scent that was leaking out of his glands. "Deku," his nose was mere inches away from his mate's mating gland, "we need to talk about why you hid this from me." He felt Deku shiver, his inner Alpha preening at the effect he was having on the Omega. He wondered how far he could push it. Deku had lied to him, he needed to get a little revenge.

"K...Kacchan," it came out almost as a moan.

"Yes, Omega," his voice deepened with the second word. Katsuki had to catch him, Deku's legs gave way with a deep sigh." Careful there, Deku. Are you feeling alright?" He lowered Deku to the floor, resting his body on the blanket from earlier. The pheromones the Alpha was releasing were clearly having an effect on the Omega. Though all he received was a gentle whine. Katsuki sniffed, he could smell arousal pheromones leaking out of Deku. So Deku found him attractive, interesting. The Alpha had to admit that the Omega was cute looking. Now that he knew he was an Omega, the delicate features and thick thighs made him more attractive.

Katsuki still had him in his arms, they were lying together on the floor. The Alpha wasn't going to lie, this was not what he had expected. However, he had to admit it, there were worse choices for a mate. He could tell that the nerd was attracted to him, but did he actually want to be with him? Romantically? They were pressed quite closely together, so much so that Katsuki could feel the smaller's enjoyment pushing up against his leg. "It seems to me like you are enjoying yourself," he was running his hand down the Omega's muscled chest, under his shirt.

Traditionally, Omegas weren't muscular. They were meant for raising pups and looking after the home. Yet, Katsuki had to admit it, he found the muscles captivating. His finger tracing over each one as he moved up his chest. He paused as he reached the Omega's nipples, they were pebbled against his shirt. Gently, he took one between his fingers. applying pressure. The reaction was instantaneous. Deku's back arched upwards, moving closer to the Alpha.

"You like that, Deku. That's a good boy." He used his other hand to list up the shirt and replaced his finger with his tongue. The Omega next to him shuddered with delight, a loud moan escaping his pink lips. Katsuki chucked before continuing, circling and worshipping the Omega's nipples with his tongue.

Deku was panting next to him, "Kacchan, what are you d...doing? Why? What is...is happening between us?"

"Well Deku, you lied to me and kept a very important secret from me, from your Alpha. I'm going to have a little fun, and then we're going to talk. Is that ok?" He looked at Deku, waiting for the all clear. He needed to know that he was ok with this. There was a reason why the nerd had kept this secret from him, he would find out why. Yet, he was not going to do anything to his mate that he was not comfortable with.

"Deku, I'm waiting."

"Yes Kacchan, please."

That was all the encouragement the Alpha needed.
