The following morning, I woke up quite early in the morning and looked at the clock in the room. It was five in the morning. I walked to the window and opened it, I stared at the dark sky that was becoming clear and took a deep breath before walking back to my bed. I sat on the bed and put my hands together. I stood up minutes later and switched on the light and stared at my bed. "I am going to miss you," I said looking at the bed. I walked to the bed and laid it before pulling my towel from the wardrobe and going into the bathroom. When I got to the bathroom, I took my toothbrush and added toothpaste to it. I poured a little quantity of water onto the toothpaste and brushed my teeth, after which I took my bath. I walked into the room after taking my bath and added some oil to my body. I picked out a cloth I had not packed among the clothes I had packed the day before and placed it on my bed before putting on my underwear. Minutes later, I moved around the room as I couldn't get to sleep back. An hour later, I heard a knock on my door and opened it. I saw my Mom standing out of my door. "Good morning Mom." I greeted. "Good morning Sophia." Mom said before walking into the room. Mom sat on my bed, which made me smile as she had not sat on my bed ever since my attitude changed. I looked at her, smiling. "Come have you sit." Mom said tapping on the bed. I walked to her side and had my sit before looking into her eyes. "I am going to miss you, and I am sure your sisters would." She said. "But we need to let you go for now so that you would be treated." I looked at my Mom and saw little tears. I knew that she meant what she was saying, and I took in a deep breath before hugging her. "Mom, I promise that I will change within some weeks or some months," I said amidst tears as I held on to her. "I trust you." Mom said raising my head. "Thank you Mom for trusting me," I said. Mom nodded her head and rose to her feet wiping her tears with her hands. "You should get ready." Mom said. "Bob would be out in an hour, and you both would be leaving in two hours." I nodded my head as I watched my Mom leave the house. Mom turned to look at me and smiled. "What would you like to have this morning?" She asked. "I would just have some tea to drink," I said and Mom nodded her head before walking out of the room. I took in a deep breath before wiping the tears that were on my face. I walked to the door and shut it close before going to sit on my bed. I took out a pen from my school bag and a little piece of paper. I scribbled on the piece of paper that I would miss my family and I promised to come back as a better person. I placed the paper on the table in the room and clipped it to the table with a clipper. I walked back to my bed and took up the cloth I dropped on the bed and wore it. Minutes later, I walked to the door and opened it wide then walked to the box I had packed my clothes in and dragged it out with me to the sitting room. An hour later, Uncle Bob and my sisters came out of their rooms. Uncle Bob smiled seeing me and hugged me. "Everything would be fine." He said. Rose walked up to me and hugged me tight. "I am going to miss you." She said, looking into my eyes. "I am also going to miss you," I said, rubbing her hair. She removed her hands from me and raised her hands. "Promise me that you are going to change," Rose said. I nodded my head looking at her.
"I promise," I said nodding my head. Deborah looked at me and smiled, I smiled back at her. Deborah and Rose both went to take their bath. Minutes later, John and Sarah came to the sitting room. "Good morning John, Good morning Sarah," I said greeting them and they both nodded their head to me. Sarah walked close to me and pulled me into a hug. "It's well," Sarah said before walking away. Minutes later, my sisters and mother walked out to join us in the sitting room and Rose sat on my brother's leg giggling. An hour later, we were set to leave. I drank a cup of tea with Uncle Bob and we rested a bit. Minutes later, Uncle Bob's phone rang, and he excused himself for some minutes and then came back nodding his head to Mom. I looked at him.
"We have to go." He said holding me up and I nodded. I went to my box and dragged it out of the house. My Mom, brother, sisters, and Sarah followed us out and Uncle Bob pointed to a van telling me to go put my box into the van. I walked to the van and a man helped me put the box into the boot of the van. Uncle Bob walked to me and placed his hand on my shoulder. We turned to my family and bade them goodbye before entering the van. I looked out the window of the van and waved to my parents until they were out of sight. The van continued riding, and I turned to look at Uncle Bob, who smiled at me.
"I am going to miss my family," I said, and he drew me close to himself.
"Do not worry. Anytime you miss them, just come to me and I would allow you to speak with them on calls." Uncle Bob said and I nodded my head. The van drove for an hour before stopping at a house.
"Here we are." The man driving the van said. Uncle Bob got out of the van and so did I. The driver also came down the van and brought out my box from the van. "Thank you so much." Uncle Bob said shaking the man then brought out some money which he later gave to the man. After giving the man some money, he entered the van and drove away. Uncle Bob placed his hand on my shoulder, and together we walked through a gate into a house.
