I wept for hours on the same spot but no one opened the door. I gave the door a series of knocks but no one opened the door.

"What have I gotten myself into?" I asked myself.

I sat outside the house and stared at the sky for hours.

Minutes later, I heard footsteps near me and looked up to see who it was. I saw my father and smiled.

"You came home to comfort your wife?" I heard a voice say and looked at my Dad side.

A lady was by the side of my Dad.

"Dad!, Thank God you are back," I said and dusted my clothes standing up.

Dad looked at me and wanted to enter the house but found it locked.

"You need to dispose of this demon." The lady said pointing to me and Dad nodded his head.

Dad dipped his hand into his bag and brought out his phone.

"Hello dear, yes come open the door," Dad said and ended the call.

Minutes later, the door of the house was opened, and my Dad got in. I followed my Dad but was pushed out of the house.

My eyes kept staring at the door as I wept.

"Dad, open the door," I said as tears welled up my face.

I stayed outside the house as I had nowhere to go to.

The day began to get dark, and I looked at the door. My parents came out of the house closing the door behind them then looked at me.

"You are still here?" Dad asked and looked at Mom.

Mom shook her head with tears which started to trickle down her eyes.

Dad pulled me up, and I happily looked at him, he held Mother's waist, and together we left the house premises to the road.

"Do wait for us here," Dad said when we had gotten a long distance from the house.

We were on the road then and I didn't know that road. I nodded to Dad and went to wait for them under a shade.

I waited there for two hours, going out to check for my parents every two minutes but saw none of them. I didn't see even their trace.

"Mom!, Dad!" I called out each time I went out of the shade to look for them but no one answered me.

I cried and sat on the road, I closed my eyes and saw the woman who told me that I would be abandoned laughing.

"Ah, I informed you that you would be abandoned today, and now you have been abandoned. No one wants you again." The woman said laughing.

"No!, No!, I haven't been Abandoned." I said opening my eyes and opened my eyes.

I waited on the road until mid of the night since there was no car moving but didn't see my parents. Then it dawned on me that I had been abandoned. I closed my eyes and allowed tears to flow freely down my eyes.

I returned to the Shade and laid my head on a wooden table then closed my eyes to sleep as I hoped that my parents would come back for me. I dreamt of being pursued by the ghost of the two people I murdered in my new school and woke up panting.

I looked around me in the shade for water as I was tasty but didn't see water. I held my breath and slept back then I dreamt of Rihanna dressed in a glowing gown and waving to me as she flew up.

"You killed her." I heard a voice say then woke up.

I looked around and I saw the clear sky. I rose from the floor and stretched before looking up. My eyes met with a man looking at me.

"You would have to leave here now." The man said with a calm voice.

"Please sir, I don't have anywhere to go to," I said to him.

The man shook his head and looked at me.

"Get out of here now." The man shouted, and I ran out of the shade to the road.

I looked around as I didn't have anywhere to go. I crossed the road and sat on the paceway on the other side of the road.

"Why is she sitting there?" I heard someone ask and turned to look around.

My eyes met with two women walking like they were workers. One of the women had a book in her hand while the other was dressed like a nurse.

The woman who was dressed like a nurse walked towards me.

"Good morning." She greeted.

"Good morning." I greeted back, and the woman moved back.

"Have you had your bath this morning?" She asked.

"No, I haven't," I replied to her.

"Okay." The woman said and motioned the other woman to come nearer.

The other woman who was with the book walked towards me, held my hand, and took me into a van.

Getting into the van, I was taken to a place where I had my bath and was given another cloth to wear. The clothes were accurately my size. I thanked the woman for the clothes and we both left the van.

We went to meet the woman dressed like a nurse.

The woman who was dressed as a nurse nodded her head.

"Wow!, you look cool." The woman said. "You need to go to your family now." The woman said.

I looked at her with tears on my face.

"What's wrong my dear?" The other woman bent down and asked.

"They won't accept me back," I said.

"But why?" She asked me.

"They Abandoned me last night," I said, and the woman took a deep breath looking at the one dressed as a nurse.

"Are you sure of that?" The woman dressed as a nurse said.

"Yes, I am," I answered her.

We went into the van and the nurse sat me down.

"What is your name?" She asked.

"Sophia Adams," I replied.

"Why were you Abandoned?" She asked.

I looked at her and shook my head while she smiled.

"Okay, there's no reason to tell us about it. Every year 2000 children are abandoned by their parents." She said.

"And I," I said and she nodded.

"By the way, I am Jane, and I am a caretaker in an orphanage where I care for children like you. I am on an assignment to help children who require our help and I will love to take you to our orphanage so that you can be cared for." She said and I nodded.
