The following week,

I woke up early in the morning and was happy. I remembered the discussion I had with my mom the day before. The day before, we discussed about me continuing my education.

"I promise to make Mom and Dad proud of me," I said to myself.

Suddenly, I heard a knock on my room door and went to open it. I was surprised to see my Dad standing at the doorway.

"Dad!" I called out.

Dad revealed a smile on his face and stretched out his hands to me. I ran into Dad's arm and he embraced me.

"You are going to start a new school today. Thanks to Bob, you won't feel agitated seeing people's blood." Dad said and I sighed.

I looked at my Dad and wondered how disappointed he would be when he gets to know that I pretended to be healed just to be with my family. I just nodded my head and left his side.

"Dad, when did you get back?" I asked him and he smiled.

I looked at Dad and saw the smile on his face and also smiled.

"Dad, would you mind coming in?" I asked and my Dad nodded and sat on my bed.

I walked to my wardrobe and brought out a dress.

"When did you come back, Dad?" I asked.

"I came back at midnight," Dad said and I nodded my head.

I went back to the wardrobe and pulled out another dress then dropped it on the bed. I walked up to the box of clothes that I brought from Uncle Bob's house and took out a cloth from it then dropped it on the bed.

"Dad!" I called raising one of the clothes I dropped on the bed up on my body.

"Yes, my daughter." My Dad answered and I smiled.

"Is this nice to be worn today?" I asked Dad.

Dad looked at the cloth and then at me.

"Let me see how those two looks on you," Dad said and I smiled.

"Alright," I said.

I took up the second cloth and showed my Dad then I took up the cloth I removed from the box.

"Wow, this is nice," Dad said when I showed him the cloth.

"So you choose that I wear this cloth," I said and Dad nodded his head.

"Ok," I said picking up the remaining clothes and returning them back into the wardrobe.

"By the way, who bought you this lovely gown," Dad asked and I smiled.

"Uncle Bob brought this for me," I said and Dad smiled.

"You no longer dislike your uncle," Dad said and I nodded my head.

"He was good to me. I also love my cousin Drake and would love to see him again." I said.

"I heard that they would be here by tomorrow," Dad said and I smiled.

"That's great," I said.

Dad smiled and pulled me into a hug.

"You should get dressed so as not to arrive at your new school late," Dad said and I smiled nodding my head.

Dad got up from the bed and walked out of the room and I shut the door and ran to have my bath.

Hours later, I was done dressing up and walked out of the room with the clothes Dad chose. My Mom opened her eyes in supposed when she saw me and I could not but smile. My sisters walked out of the room they shared together. Deborah was wearing casual housewear while Rose was on her school wear.

Rose ran to Dad while Deborah smiled bowing her head as a sign of respect to Dad.

"When would you be going back?" Dad asked and I looked at Deborah.

"In two weeks, Dad," Deborah said and Dad nodded his head smiling.

"We've been away from Sophia for two years," Dad said and Deborah nodded her head.

Dad looked at me and nodded his head.

"Our breakfast is ready." Mom said and Rose left Dad's side.

We all went to the table to have our meal.

After some minutes, we were all done eating and left for the living room. We sat in the living room and Dad told us some stories making us smile.

After some hours, Mom got up from the couch and held my right hand.

"We would be leaving now." Mom said and I got up.

She waved to Dad and my siblings.

We both left the house and walked for some minutes to Mom's new car. Mom used her car key to open the doors of the car and we got into the car. I shut the door I entered through while Mom started the car engine.

Mom drove the car for some minutes then stopped at a school.

We got down from the car and both went into the school building. We were directed to a building in the school where we met a woman. The woman smiled and got up. She had a handshake with us and then told us to have our sit on the chairs in front of her.

"Clara!" The woman called looking back and a lady entered the office.

"Yes, Mom." The lady said with a bow when she entered the room.

"Get them some nourishment." The woman said and her daughter bowed her head and went back to the room she came from.

Minutes later, the lady came out with two bottles of drink and two cups and placed them on the table. She returned to the backroom and her mother faced us.

"We like to welcome you to this school, my dear." The woman said then looked at me.

"What is your name?" The woman asked bringing out a book.

I looked at my mother who nodded to me.

"My name is Sophia," I said and the woman scribbled my name on the book.

We spoke about other things and after some minutes, the woman stood up.

"You would be older than your mates but do not worry." The woman said and I nodded my head.

We followed the woman out and she walked us down to a class.
