Chapter 14

The following morning, I woke up and looked around as I saw light around.
I jumped up from the bed as I noticed that the bed was larger than my normal bed.
I looked up, remembering that I was in my Uncle's house.
“Wow, this house is large. I wonder why only four people live in this house.” I said.
I placed my hand across my jaw.
“How would my parents live if our house is like this?" I said and smiled.
I walked to the room toilet and opened it.
It was clean, and I opened my mouth as I stared at it before sitting in the restroom.
After which I pressed the button to flush the toilet, and it wiped the toilet clean.
“Wow,” I thought. I looked at the areas of the toilet and took a deep breath.
“This is beautiful,” I said to myself.
I felt delighted that I was brought to my Uncle's house.
I smiled then walked to the room door and tried to open the door normally as I do open my room door at home, but it didn't open.
I remembered how my Uncle explained opening the door to me. I looked at the button in the door and opened it before stepping out of the room. The mansion was bright, and I could see what was going on in the mansion.
I walked towards the staircase and Andy approached me smiling.
“Good morning, ma'am." Andy greeted.
“Sophia!” I corrected and she smiled.
“Okay.” She said smiling. “Good morning, Sophia.” I smiled bowing my head.
“Good morning, Andy,” I said.
Andy smiled and was about to walk down the stairs.
“Please what's your full name,” I asked her.
“My name is Andriana.” She said and I smiled.
She looked at me and smiled.
“You can also call me Samantha.” She said and I nodded.
Andy used her hand to cover an injury in her hand and I saw it. I closed my eyes and walked back to my room while I felt her looking at me.
I got to my room and immediately pressed the button and locked the room door then walked to my bed.
“I can't stand this,” I said, shaking my head.
Suddenly, I was startled by a knock on my door. I closed my eyes and prayed that it was not Andy.
I heard the knock again and looked at the door.
“Who is it?” I asked with a weak voice.
“It's Drake.” I heard a little voice say and I smiled.
“I'm coming,” I said and got up from the bed.
I opened the door and smiled seeing Drake.
“Good morning,” Drake said and I bent to his level.
“My Dad told me to inform you that you should get ready as we would be having our breakfast in two hours then you both would set out,” Drake said and ran up the stairs.
I smiled as I watched Drake walk up the step and got up.
I looked at the door before shutting it.
I walked into the room and took off my clothes before picking the things I would need in the bathroom.
I took my toothbrush and toothpaste with my soap to the bathroom before walking to the room door and locking the door by pressing the button.
I walked into the room and put off my towel before pressing the shower button.
I showered before taking my bath. After taking my bath, I brushed my teeth then walked to the room and dried my body before selecting the dress I would like to wear that day.
I put on my clothes and sat on the bed, staring into empty space.
Two hours later, I heard a knock on the door.
“Come out to have your breakfast.” I heard my Uncle say.
“Okay,” I said.
I pressed the open button of the door and walked out of the door. Uncle Bob smiled, looking at me.
“You look good,” Uncle Bob said.
I smiled looking at him.
“Dad!, Dad!, Dad!” Drake shouted as he walked to his Dad.
Uncle Bob carried Drake into his arms and Drake smiled looking at me. We went down the stairs and I saw Andy serving noodles on each plate.
I closed my eyes as I saw Andy's injury and drew a chair out.
I sat on the chair and looked at everyone.
After serving noodles on each plate, Andy drew out a chair and sat on it. We all started eating while Uncle Bob placed Drake on a small chair and put a small table beside him, and he ate his noodles. We all ate our noodles happily. When we were done eating, we drank water and then went to the living room to rest a bit.
After some minutes of resting, Uncle Bob got up from the couch and picked up his keys.
“I would be back,” He said and walked out of the house.
A few minutes later, Uncle Bob came into the house and looked at me.
“Sophia, let's move.” He said.
I got up to my feet and walked to him.
“I would miss you, Dad. I would miss you, Sophia,” Drake said and I smiled.
Uncle Bob walked to his wife and gave her a slight peck on the cheek and touched Drake's cheek before looking at me. We went to Uncle Bob's car and he drove away.
Minutes later, we arrived at a pack and Uncle Bob got out of the car.
“You should get down,” He said to me and I got out of the car.
“Come with me,” He said, and I followed him into the building.
I heard noises coming from within the building and looked at Uncle Bob.
“Be careful,” Uncle Bob said and entered a room.
“Wait here,” Uncle Bob said getting into the room.
He pointed to a couch and I sat down. He walked into the office in the room and came out some minutes later.
“Let's go,” He said.
He was holding up a file. We went into another room and office then he sat me down on a chair while he walked to the opposite chair and had his sit.
