Three hours later, I woke up and looked at my door. We were also free for the day but would be going to class the next day.
I got off the bed, walked to the bathroom in the room, and took my bath.
I pulled out a dark long cloth after taking my bath and wore it, then I wore my shade. Furthermore, I moved to the mirror in my room wanting to see how I looked, but I couldn't see. Moreover, I sighed, remembering that the room was dark.
"Alright, now I do remember that I am a vampire," I said to myself and sighed.
"I hope I would be used to this life not intending to change because of anyone," I said to myself, then walked out of my room.
"Good morning Sophia." I heard Jane greet me and I stood stiff.
"Why would she call me now? Does she know what happened yesterday? Does she suspect that I am behind it?" I asked myself, standing still.
"You look tense," Jane said. "I guess it's about the deaths of your mates last night."
I looked at her as I was getting afraid.
"I hope she doesn't know anything about our operation last night," I said to myself and clutched my hands to my chest.
"You do not need to be afraid." I heard Chloe say and turned around to see her.
I smiled upon seeing her as I was so excited.
"Chloe," I said with excitement and spread my hands out wide for a hug.
We hugged for some minutes before facing Jane.
"We would love to embalm the bodies of the children who died yesterday," Jane said, looking at all the children.
I held Chloe's hand, and together we walked to a table to have our sit.
"We will hold a prayer in this orphanage tonight, and I will need all of you to be present," Jane said, and we all nodded.
I turned to Chloe, who was laughing.
We opened our cup and saw tea in the cup. I smiled and picked up the cup. I drank the tea and turned to the food. Furthermore, I really didn't have an appetite to eat anything.
Moreover, I picked up the plate of soup which contained meat, and drank it.
Moreover, I cleaned my mouth immediately after having the soup and got up from the chair. Moreover, I went back to my room and sat on my bed.
Minutes later, my door flew open, and I looked at it. I felt relief when I noticed that it was Chloe.
"Sophia!" Chloe called.
"Yes," I answered.
"Why did you leave like that?" Chloe asked.
"Chloe!" I called and hugged her for a few minutes.
"What is wrong?" Chloe asked me.
"They want to conduct a prayer," I said with sweat beams flowing down my face.
Chloe looked at me and took in a deep breath.
"That's true. I don't know how we would get away from this." Chloe said.
"I think we have to think of a way out before evening," I said and Chloe nodded her head.
I placed my hand on my jaw as I thought of a way out.
"I think I have a suggestion," I said.
"What's your suggestion?" Chloe said.
"I think we should delete it from her memory also before evening," I said, and Chloe looked at me.
"Yes, that's right." She said and then sighed. "It won't be nice to do that now."
"But why?" I asked with a confused look on my face.
"She is already thinking of countless things and I think her thought is going to end after the prayer as she is determined to have it. She may die in the process while we try clearing that from her memory." Chloe said.
I looked at her and smiled, nodding my head.
"What do you think we should do?" I asked her.
"We shouldn't go for the prayer," Chloe said.
"But how?" I asked. "They may come to wake us up for the prayer."
"Then we will make ourselves invisible," Chloe said, and I smiled.
"Alright," I said.
I looked down as I remembered that it was a prayer and could affect us still.
"What if it affects us?" I asked.
"What?" Chloe asked, not understanding what I asked.
"What if the prayer affects us?" I asked and Chloe looked at me.
"It doesn't influence the invisible," Chloe said. "We will be invisible throughout the night."
"Alright," I said.
Chloe hugged me again.
"I have to go now." She said and I nodded.
She went out of the room and I sighed, looking towards the door.
"I am going invisible tonight," I said tonight.
I said to myself, smiling.
Chloe came back into the room.
"Do you know how to go invisible?" She asked me and I nodded.
"I do know how to be," I said and Chloe hugged me before going out.
I followed Chloe out of the room to the breakfast table.
"I guess it's only your friend who can change your mind." Somebody said and I smiled nodding my head.
"You can have your seat." He said, pointing to a chair in front of him and I smiled.
Chloe sat beside me and the boy kept staring at me.
"What do you want?" I asked him.
"I just want to stare at your beautiful face." He said, and I immediately got up with Chloe.
Chloe started laughing when we walked away from the gentleman.
"Why did you have to do that?" Chloe asked and I looked at her.
"How do you suggest I do?" I asked.
"You should have used your power to teach him a lesson," Chloe said and I laughed.
"That's right," I said.
Minutes later, Jane stood by our back and hugged us happily.
"See you in the prayer today." She said and walked away.
I turned to look at Jane as she walked away, and Chloe saw her.
"We are genuinely sorry that we won't be there for the prayer," Chloe said looking at Jane.
