Chapter 41

 We held hands together as we walked to the breakfast table. I smiled immediately when I saw meat and strawberry on the table.

I turned to look at Chloe who was also smiling and looking at the table.

She turned and looked at me then to the table Jane was at.

I nodded my head as I understood what she met.

I took my hands off hers and walked to the table where Jane was.

"Good morning Miss Jane," I said wrapping my hands around her neck.

"Good morning dear." She said turning to look at me and then touched my chin.

Chloe walked up to me and held my hand.

"What a wonderful morning," Chloe said holding my hand then looked at Jane.

"Good morning, Miss," Chloe said and Jane nodded.

"Good morning Chloe," Jane said smiling.

"Wow, I love this, Miss," Chloe said bending to pick a piece of meat on Jane's plate.

Jane looked at Chloe and shook her head.

"Chloe!" Jane called, and she dropped the piece of meat laughing.

"I am sorry, Miss. I couldn't resist the tempting fragrance from the meat." Chloe said smiling as she dropped the piece of meat.

Jane looked at Chloe and smiled.

"Your meal is there, you can go have your meat. You may also ask for more meat." She said smiling then looked at me.

"Do take care of your friend and do not let her eat too much meat." She said laughing before turning to her food and I laughed.

Chloe held onto my hand, and together we walked to the table where my mates were.

We started eating and I truly enjoyed the meat. Chloe and I asked for more of the meat while some of our mates stared at us.

After having the third set of meat, we had our cheese and drank our strawberries.

"I love this," I said, getting up from the chair as I finished having what was set before me.

"I also do," Chloe said and got up as she was done with her meal.

Chloe looked at her room and I nodded.

We both went into her room and she asked me to have my sit on her bed when we got into her room and I sat down.

"Here is what we are going to do today," Chloe said and I looked at her.

"What are we going to do?" I asked.

"We are going to attack those children at night so as not to be suspected," Chloe said and I nodded.

"Alright," I said.

"I attack them in the middle of the night since they would all be fast asleep, and I deal with anyone who is still awake by that period." She said.

"You've attacked here?" I asked and she nodded.

"Yes, I have." She replied.

I smiled knowing that I was with someone who would help me achieve a lot.

"Alright," I said smiling.

Chloe intensely looked at me some minutes later, and I was worried as I wondered if I had hurt her.

"Chloe!" I called.

"Yes, Sophia." She replied.

"Do you have anything to say? And if you do have, then you don't need to stare at me." I said and Chloe smiled.

"I do want to relax on your lap." She said, and I smiled.

"You may rest your head on my lap," I said moving up the bed.

Chloe sat on the bed and laid her head on my lap. I placed my hands around her waist as she stared at the ceiling in the dark room.

"Sophia!" She called me.

"Yes, Chloe," I answered.

Sophia turned to look at me and smiled, then turned to look back at the ceiling.

"I do want you to know that our display to Miss Jane early this morning is just to make her free with us," Chloe said and I nodded.

"I do know," I said and moved my hands to her hair.

"In the evening before we go on our mission, we will be going to Miss Jane to play with her," Chloe said and I looked at her.

"What if she follows us?" I asked and Chloe smiled.

"Remember we have our powers," Chloe said and I nodded.

We both went silent for an hour as we stared at the ceiling.

An hour later, Chloe got up from my lap and sat on the bed. She looked at me and I turned to her.

"We aren't sleeping this night?" She said.

"Why aren't we?" I asked with a confused expression on my face.

Chloe got up from the bed and squatted looking at me.

"We aren't sleeping this night as we have a lot of task to do." She said and I nodded my head.

"Do you suggest that we have our sleep now since today is free?" I asked and Chloe nodded her head.

I laid my back down on Chloe's bed as I drew myself down to sleep. Chloe also laid on the bed.

"We should be awake in four to five hours," Chloe said and I nodded my head.

"Alright, let's sleep," I said and closed my eyes.

Five hours later, I woke up with Chloe and we both looked at each other.

Chloe smiled looking at me and I also smiled at her. She looked at the clock in her room.

"It's still quite early," Chloe said and I nodded.

"Yes, it is," I said.

"What would you like us to do?" Chloe asked and I turned to look at her.

"I do not have any idea on what we can do," I said.

"Let's go out," Chloe said and I nodded getting off the bed.

We both walked out of the room and looked around. We saw Jane surrounded by some children and I guessed that she was telling them some stories.

"Would you mind us going there?" I asked Chloe, pointing in Jane's direction.

Chloe turned to me and smiled nodding her head.

 I held her hand tight, and together we walked to join the children who were sitting around Jane.
