**Y/N's Perspective**
I was sitting in the attending lounge, leafing through patient files, and trying to focus on the day ahead. The events of the past few days were still weighing heavily on my mind. The surgical complications, the tension with Eliza, and the emotional aftermath had all left me feeling drained.
Just as I was lost in thought, the door to the lounge opened, and Arizona walked in, holding two cups of coffee. She had that bright, reassuring smile that always seemed to lift my spirits.
"Morning, Y/N," she greeted, handing me one of the cups. "Thought you could use this."
I accepted the coffee gratefully, the warmth of the cup a welcome comfort in my hands. "Thanks, Arizona. You have no idea how much I needed this."
She sat down next to me, her eyes full of concern and understanding. "How are you holding up?"
I took a sip of the coffee, savouring the rich, comforting flavour. "It's been a rough few days. The surgery, the tension with Eliza... it's all been a lot to handle."
Arizona reached out and placed her hand on mine. "I know it's been tough, but you've been amazing through it all. You're an incredible surgeon, Y/N, and an even more incredible person. Don't let anyone make you feel otherwise."
Her words were like a balm to my weary soul. "Thank you, Arizona. Your support means everything to me."
We sat there for a moment, enjoying the peaceful silence and the warmth of our coffee. It was in these quiet moments that I found the strength to keep going, knowing that Arizona was by my side.
"I was thinking," Arizona began, breaking the silence. "Maybe we should take a break together soon. Just a day off to relax and recharge. What do you think?"
I smiled at the thought. "That sounds perfect. I think we both could use a break."
Before we could continue, the door to the lounge swung open, and Alex Karev walked in, munching on a chocolate bar. He stopped when he saw us, a playful grin spreading across his face.
"Well, well, well, look at you two," he teased. "Having a little coffee date in the lounge, huh?"
I rolled my eyes but couldn't help but laugh. "It's just coffee, Karev."
He smirked, taking a seat across from us. "Sure, sure. Whatever you say."
Arizona chuckled, shaking her head. "What do you want, Alex?"
He took another bite of his chocolate bar, looking thoroughly pleased with himself. "Nothing, just enjoying the sight of my two favourite people looking so cosy. But if you have an extra coffee, I wouldn't say no."
I laughed, feeling a bit lighter than I had in days. "Sorry, no extra coffee. But you're welcome to sit with us."
"Don't mind if I do," he said, settling in. "So, what's the plan for today, ladies?"
We spent the next few minutes chatting and joking with Alex, the tension of the past few days momentarily forgotten.

I was making my way through the hospital hallways, focusing on the patients I needed to check on. The routine of rounds was a welcome distraction, allowing me to channel my energy and leave the stress of the past few days behind.
As I turned a corner, I almost collided with Eliza Minnick. We both stopped abruptly, and the tension between us was immediately palpable. Her presence brought back all the frustration and anger I had been trying to push aside.
