**Arizona's Perspective**
I flutter awake as the sunlight streams through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the room. The events of last night flood back, and a smile tugs at my lips. Y/N and I finally confessed our feelings for one another. After a heartfelt conversation, we shared dinner at her apartment and fell asleep spooning, her arm nestled under my neck and gently wrapped around my waist.
As I stir, Y/N notices my movements and instinctively pulls me closer, her face burying into my shoulder. "Good morning," she murmurs, her voice soft and sleepy.
I turn around to face her, unable to contain the massive smile spreading across my face. "Good morning. How did you sleep?"
Y/N gazes at me with such love and tenderness that it makes my heart skip a beat. "I slept better because I'm with you," she replies, her eyes twinkling with warmth.
We share a smile, the kind that reaches our eyes and lights up the entire room. Slowly, we lean in for a gentle kiss, our lips meeting with the softest of touches. It's a kiss filled with promise, a new beginning for us both.
I brush a stray strand of hair off Y/N's face, my fingers lingering on her cheek. "I need to take a shower before work today," I say softly, not wanting to break the peaceful moment but knowing we have responsibilities to attend to.
She nods, her hand still resting on my waist. "Alright, but hurry back. I want more time with you before we head to the hospital."
I chuckle, pressing one last kiss to her forehead before reluctantly pulling away. "I'll be quick, I promise."
As the warm water cascades over me, I still can't quite believe that I'm Y/N's girlfriend. The thought fills me with an overwhelming sense of joy and disbelief. After rinsing off, I step out of the shower and wrap one of the towels. Y/N has thoughtfully prepared around me. As I walk out of the bathroom, a delicious smell invades my senses, making my stomach growl in anticipation.
Drawn by the mouth-watering aroma, I make my way to the kitchen. There, I see Y/N standing at the stove, her movements graceful and focused as she cooks. The floor creaks beneath my feet, and she turns to face me, a smile lighting up her face.
"Good morning again," she says, her eyes sparkling. "I'm making us some pancakes with fresh berries and a side of scrambled eggs."
I sit on the bar stool, watching her with admiration. "You're spoiling me already," I say with a grin.
She laughs, flipping a pancake onto a plate. "Just wait until you taste them."
Soon, she's serving up breakfast, and we sit down together at the small kitchen table. I take a bite of the pancakes, my eyes widening in delight. "These are amazing," I say between mouthfuls. "Thank you."
She smiles, taking a sip of her coffee. "You're welcome. So, what's your day looking like?"
"I have a big surgery today," I start, my mind already running through the details. "It's a complex neonatal procedure on a preemie with congenital heart defects. I've been preparing for it all week."
Y/N nods, listening intently. "That sounds intense, but I know you'll do great."
"What about you?" I ask, taking another bite.
"I've got rounds with the residents this morning," she replies. "Then I'll be teaching in the skills lab for the rest of the day. It's a new module on advanced suturing techniques."
"That sounds exciting," I say, genuinely interested. "You're such a great teacher. They're lucky to have you."
She reaches across the table to squeeze my hand, her touch sending a warm thrill through me. "Thank you, Arizona. That means a lot."
After finishing breakfast, we both get ready for the day ahead. I follow Y/N out to the car, and she drives us to the hospital. As she parks, I turn to her, leaning in for a kiss. "Bye, Dr. Y/L/N," I say with a smile.
"Bye, Dr. Robbins," she responds, her eyes twinkling. "Go save lives."

It's lunchtime in the hospital, and Y/N and I are sitting together, our trays filled with the usual cafeteria fare. I look at Y/N, feeling a sense of calm wash over me just being near her.
"So, how did your surgery go?" Y/N asks, her eyes filled with genuine curiosity.
I take a bite of my salad before answering. "It was the complex neonatal procedure on a preemie with congenital heart defects that i was telling you about this morning. There were a few tense moments, but we managed to stabilize her. She's in the NICU now, and her vitals look good."
Y/N nods, a proud smile spreading across her face. "That's amazing, Arizona. Those are the surgeries that make all the stress worth it."
I smile back, feeling the warmth of her support. "How about you? How's your day going?"
"I did rounds with the residents this morning and spent a couple of hours in the skills lab teaching suturing techniques. It's been a busy day, but I love seeing the residents improve." She pauses, then adds, "I've been working with Jo a lot recently. She's really showing a knack for orthopaedics. I think she might have a future in it."
Before I can respond, April and Alex walk over, trays in hand, and plop down next to us. Alex, with his usual smirk, looks between us. "So, did you two finally get together, or are we still in the will-they-won't-they stage?"
Y/N takes my hand, and I squeeze it, looking up at Alex with a big smile. "We're together," I say, unable to hide my happiness.
April puts down her sandwich and rolls her eyes dramatically. "Oh my god, finally! You lesbians took way too long to get together."
We all laugh, the tension of the past few weeks melting away. It feels good to share this moment with our friends, to finally be open about our relationship. As we continue to talk and eat, I can't help but feel grateful for this new chapter in my life.
Y/N turns to Alex, who's now stuffing his face with a sandwich. "By the way, Alex, I've been working with your girlfriend Jo a lot recently, and I really think she has a future in orthopaedics. She's got a great sense for it."
Alex looks up, a glimmer of pride in his eyes. "Yeah? That's good to hear. Jo's been working her ass off. I'll make sure to let her know you think so highly of her."
"She deserves it," Y/N says, smiling. "She's got a real talent, and it's exciting to see her grow."
As Alex and April start bickering about some trivial hospital matter, Y/N squeezes my hand under the table, drawing my attention. I look over to see her gazing at me with such a loving and tender expression that my heart skips a beat. In that moment, surrounded by friends and filled with happiness, I realize just how lucky I am to have Y/N in my life.

A/N: I've actually been procrastinating the next couple of chapters, not because I don't enjoy writing this, BUT BECAUSE I HAVE 2 MAJOR STORY PLOTS THAT I CAN'T EVEN WRITE YET OR REVEAL.
Same thing with the fight chapter. I was so excited for weeks to begin writing it, and I cannot wait to write both of the other story plots. Its killing me inside, not writing them yet.
Anyways, enjoy the absolute gorgeous gorgeous picture I found of Jcap from Blind Trust.
