Feeling a slight tap on my shoulder I was awaken to Monique hovering over me.
"Watch eh baby fimme mah guh downstairs guh mek him bottle and come back." She asked me before slipping out of the bed and leaving the room.

Mi nuh understand why mah fi wake up and watch a sleeping baby Weh secured Ina dem bassinet...
Monique was in labour for approximately 9-10 hours and finally had him on Tuesday at 3:02am.
Mi happy yf but at di same time mi lose mi ooman and it seems like she serious bout the whole co-parent thing.
Mi reason wid dadz and him basically a tek di blame fi it which mi kinda understand but mi nah guh accept it as nuh excuse.
Tru him neva deh deh fimme growing up mi neva really know or did get taught how fi treat a ooman right but as mi seh mi nah accept dat as nuh excuse.
Mah wastemn and a desso it stop.
Hearing soft whines I turned my attention to fussing leshawn and picked him up.
"Wahmu tuh yuh?? Eh??" I whispered softly as I rocked him slowly to quiet his cries.
"Yuh wan titi??" I asked him even though I knew I wasn't gonna received a response.
