"They're flirting, and they know it."
Running around the house after everyone push their responsibilities on my shoulder. Even since the sun has rise everyone has surrender themselves putting everything on my head.
I'm absolutely devasted by holding on every single thing in my own hands, and one of the most censure thing is all of my cousins and relatives are enjoying my brother's haldi ceremony while I'm the one working like a slave.
Looking over the stair case again catching my breath, I took small steps down the stairs while carefully holding seven huge boxes of gift in my both the hands. My feet has went numb after constantly climbing and descending the way.
As I step down the stairs, I heard a fury howled of my mom yelling my name. "Eira!! Look at yourself. Don't you want to join the ceremony." My mom scanned me from head to toe looking at my state.
She acting as if she isn't the one ordering me to do all the work and now blaming me for not getting ready. "Don't stare at me and go get ready!!!"
My body was drained and my throat was dried, I didn't argue further. I just harshly handed over the gift boxes to mom dashing over the stair case neglecting her scolding.
I stepped inside the room and my body freezed at the position. My room was looking like a dumpster, with clothes thrown on the bed and things lying on the ground.
The room was making me feel rotten with all the mess, but I have no time to clean now. I went straight to the wordrobe getting my self ready for the ceremony.
The theme color of the ceremony was mandatory 'yellow'. I was thinking of glaming up a bit, but looking at the temperature it seems safe to wear something light and elegant.

Brushing my hairs through my fingers taking a last gaze from the mirror I rushed downstairs. The ceremony was already started the glimpse of happiness was all over the house.
I stood behind everyone peeking from the back, I couldn't see anything clearly as everyone's head were stuck at the place. I stood on tip of toes to get the better view, but instead lost in balance almost making me fall on my butt.
There were too many people around and I don't want to feel unconscious while walking through the crowd.
"Ohh God!! I finally found you." I stared down at my cousin Tejal who was panting heavily. "I don't live across the city Teja, I was up in my room." I exclaimed at her over doing.
"Now don't start you lecture, Aunty is waiting for you." She grabbed my waist in hasten, and made the way through the crowd without any obstacle.
I'm truly thankful of her for getting me out from the eclectic or else I would have stayed at the back until everyone moves aside.
