Lexi's pov
I remember everything ,like it was yesterday .
All the beating, cutting, crying, pain,I forbid myself from remembering those awful memories,I pushed away the tear's that rolled down my face,it still hurts the scar's never left me it's a reminder of what I went through many years ago.
Anyway moving on ,am on my way to my grandparents house ,my mom's parents,Mr and Mrs Coleman's,am sure the wouldn't, want to see the grand daughter crying.
I finally reached the grand house,it hasn't changed since I was young,I packed my car and entered inside.
" Grandma, Grandpa it's me Lexi's".
" Oooh is that my grandbaby",my grandmother said.
" Yes it's me ".
" Come in come in ,come give me a hug".
And I hugged my grandma, with so much love they are the only family whom I actually share the same blood.
" I love you grandma".
" I love you to baby".
Then she took a good look at me .
" Wait are you crying, wait have you been crying, were you?"
" Am fine grandma,am okay".
" Are you sure ?"
Before I said anything,grandpa came good, a distraction I didn't want to continue the conversation.
" There is my one and only beautiful granddaughter ", Grandpa said with a big smile and came to hug me.
" Hi grandpa ,ooh I missed you so much you know that ".
" I missed you to cupcake".
" Wow you guys looked all dressed up where are you going ".
" We are going out,you wanna come sweetly ", grandma said.
" I wish I could but I have to prepare for the visit of madam Rachel joie tomorrow ".
"Ooh the french lady ",grandpa said.
" Come sit down cupcake",grandpa took my hand and lead me to the chair Infront of where he and grandma set, while grandma sat on the arm chair and put her hands around grandpa's shoulders,I love this couple so much,I wish to have a romantic life like they did and they still love each other.
" How are they Brook's".
" Dad's is fine ",I answered.
" Is he okay now, after what happened?"Grandma asked.
I never wanted to remember,those forbidden memories of both my mother's .I hated remembering them,I didn't even hear my grandparents calling me ,I was so lost in thoughts if I continued remembering,I would have dropped tears and that will make them get worried.
" Lexi!!!", Grandpa shouted.
I shook a bit.
" Am sorry,am sorry ".
" Don't be baby ",grandpa said and held my hands while grandma put her hands on top that move made me drop tears.
" I love you guys so much".
" We love you too baby,come give us a hug grandma said.
And I went to hug them both.
" Am sorry,I had to cry Infront of you guys like this".
" It's okay, dear, it's okay".
" How's lily, James and Edward".
" They are good".
" That's good baby, that's good".
" Well I don't want to keep you guys waiting,I have to go and prepare for tomorrow".
" Alright call us when you get home okay", grandpa said.
" I will ,promise can I give you guys one more hug".
" Come here baby",grandpa said.
" You look so much like Loren".
Grandpa said.
" You think so ".
" We do ".
" I miss her ".
" We miss her to baby alot",grandma said.
" Okay am off see you guys soon".
" Alright baby,tell us how the meeting will go ".
" Alright bye".
I left the mansion and headed home for a family gathering,I hope all go well ,lord Jesus please go before me I ask amen.
I just hope go's well , alright let's see.
