After my mother left ,I told Allen everything,how could she do this,it my life not her's it got me thinking a lot,i woke up the next day and went to work.
" Champ the is someone waiting in your office".
" Ahh.. who is it ?"
" I can't tell".
" Allennnn".
" Am sorry,the person told me not to".
" Who ever it is am busy and I don't have time for them now".I said with anger while opening the door to my surprise I didn't expect it would be her.
I saw her get up from the sit ,she was sitting on.
" Lexi".
" Am sure you might be busy,so I will come another time".
" No,no stay am sorry I didn't know it was you".
" You have to learn to control your anger you know,Mr White".
" Am sorry please stay,Allen you may go".
" Sure ,you guys enjoy ".
" Allennnn".
" Alright, alright am going ".
Lexi giggled.
I like the way she giggles.
" Take a sit.. how do I own the pleasure of your visit,Ms brooks".
" I came here to give you an invitation ".
" To what",I said while getting the invitation.
" A private birthday party ".
" To who's ". I said and laughed.
" Your's ".
" Mine ...what do you mean by that ".
" Well , since Mitchell memorial is on your birthday and you can't celebrate it ,so I thought of doing something for you ,it will be just the two of us".
I was surprised and shocked,no one I mean no one has done this for me before ever since that day.
" I don't know what to say".
" A simple thank you is just enough ".
Then I took her hands and kissed them.
" Thank you Lexi am grateful ".
" Don't thank me thank God because he created a kind person like me".
" And a beautiful person for that matter ".
And she blushed.
" You look cute when you blush ".
" Oh come on,am going now,I will come pick you up ".
" No way that's happening,am a man i can't let you drive me".
" Oh please, am doing you a favor ".
" No ,thank you Ms brooks but I will drive that's final, you will just show me where we are going okay ".
" Fine".
" And one thing before you go ,can you sign the contract ".
" Oh right sure".
And she signed it.
" It will be a pleasure working with you,Ms brooks ".

" Alright, see you later today before sunset ".
" Alright sure it's a date".
And she blushed again,so cute.
" Sure it's a date ".
And she left.
Well it's a good thing time , passed I was so eager to see what Lexi had planned,I knocked off from work and went home to change.
" Oooh going on a date",Allen said with food in the mouth.
" Go eat your food Allen ".
" So do you like her ,no I mean love her".
" I even wonder why am still allowing you to still stay in my house ".
" Because we are brother's,we grew up together ".
" Well you are a man now, you work and you could get your own apartment ".
" Oh come on champ ".
" Aren't you going on a date with lily ".
" No she went to visit her dad".
" Oh okay..but ,Allen you would have to tell her one way or another ".
" Ahh.. I know,I know it's hard".
" Am sure ,she will understand if you tell her yourself and soon,am off and please wash your plates ".
" Ahh.. yes mom".
I just shook my head and left.
I went to pick Lexi by her apartment and we took off.
" You look beautiful ".
" Thanks, you don't look bad yourself ".
" Thanks,so where is this place again I see you got two pick nick, baskets why".
" U'll see".
We were passing building's, houses,literally leaving sociality behind.
" Lexi,I hope you are not kidnapping me are you?"
And she laughed.
" No am not we are almost there,
Don't be ,you will love it,ooh seems we are here come on the sun is going to set".
We got out of the car, Lexi grabbed my hand and led me to a sight which no sky scraper could compare.
" Beautiful isn't it", Lexi said.
" It breath taking ".
" This is God's art,his a great creater just look at that ,I could remain looking at this valley for a life time,but times going so let's set things up".
We got things set up and we sat on the mat , Lexi removed all kinds of my favorites.
" How did you know ".
" I asked both Nina and Allen ".
" So they both knew you were doing this ".
" Yes they did and actually helped too".
" You are really full of surprises you know that ".
" I know ".
We ate and after eating,we sat for a while looking at the sun set.
" It's really beautiful ".
" It is".
I looked at Lexi has she looked at the sun set,how the sun reflected itself on her ,made her even more beautiful,why would God create such a beautiful soul and put her in this terrible world ,she smiling like nothing ever happened in her life as if she hasn't gone through pain , before it really strange,she loves you so much that she doesn't have a care in the world,I want to feel that kind of love too,but here I am thinking of what my mother is going to do if i don't end it with Lexi,the truth is I can't,she has already stolen my heart and I just can't get it back.ahh what should I do lord am in love with her ,I love her I don't know if it's the desires of the flesh or is it from my heart.
Then I heard a voice said.
(Do not doubt that voice in your heart,for she is the bone of your bone and flesh of your flesh.)
I shook my head to get back to my sense's what was that it's never happened to me before....and before I could continue my train of thought Lexi called my name.
" Hey is something wrong,I have been calling you but you didn't respond?".
" Am fine, don't worry about me".
" I have everything right to worry,we can go back you don't look okay".
" Can I.... Can I hug you if that's okay".

Lexi's pov
I was surprised when he asked that he has hugged me before without asking.
" Sure "I said.
And we hugged each other ,it was a peaceful comfort.
And then we let go.
" Okay let's cut the cake the sun is going down.
" Okay make your wish".
" Can I have three wishes please".
" Fine but don't act like a baby ".
" Okay ".

Michael's pov
For some reason we both closed our eyes,but I opened them back and stared at Lexi who's eye's where closed.
My first wish is that,I just want everyone to be happy and cast away there pride and selfishness and we surrender out selves to you lord.
My second wish is for Lexi to be happy and for all of her troubles she's facing to come to an end.
My third wish is lord ,I wish in the future to get married to Lexi because I have realized I am not just in love with her ,I love her and I want to love her like the way she loves you with her body, soul and spirit.

" Am done making my wishes ".
" Can you tell me ".
" No it's a secret ".
" Fine, happy birthday Michael and may God bless you with all your heart's desires.
" Thanks Lexi I really appreciate it".
" Lexi can I ".I said while I pointed to her forehead and she knew what I was talking about and she just nodded her head and blushed.
I sat up and kissed her forehead.
" Thank you Lexi for what you have done am really grateful".
All she did was nodded with out looking at me ,she was still blushing.
" You are really cute you know that,can you look at me now".
And she refused.
" Ahh women".
" What did you say?"she got grapes and throw them at me.
" Who says men can't blush like we do".
" Because are men".
I laughed and she joined in ,for some reason I felt like this was the best day of my life and it sure was but would it last that the question I should have asked myself.
