Lexi's pov
I loved , today well I loved everyday.
But today someone in particular is coming to join us ,so I called him.
" Hello".
" Hi ,are you done yet , should I come ?"
" No.. why do you keep offering that just give us a minute".
"Is it Allen who's making you take long".
" Don't worry will be there in no time".
" I really don't like being late for church".
" I know..I know sunshine give me a minute".
" Wait what did you say.."
" You heard me".
And he cut the call.
he cut the call ,he has to explain himself .
" Lily hurry we are going to be late".
" Your boyfriend is the one who's late am read has ever".
" Says the girl who bare foot".
" Ahh what ever".
After some minutes the boys finally came.
"Lexi I think am dreaming",lily said.
" You think you are dreaming,I think am the one who is dreaming".
Both the guys came our direction and greeted us.
We got in the car ,and headed for church .
It was fun the way Michael and Allen were looking around,like lost kid's it was funny.
"Haven't you guys been going to church?"I asked.
Lily and I looked at them.
" Well it's been a long time we last went to church".
" Like a really long time," Allen added.
By then we got in church so I was time to meditate.
We had a strictly way ,of how the ladies and gentlemen were sitted.
Ladies were sitted at the left and men at the right.
So lily and I parted ways with the guys.
I sat down and prayed after that,I began to read the bible and I found myself in the book of Samuel the story of david.it got me thinking.
If God can be above to make David a king who was a shepherd boy ,and use him for greatness even if committed,adultery how about me .it amazes me how God raises great men like that,am sure he can raise me up ,if I humble my heart.
The song leader ,came to the pulpit and began the worship songs or it was lovely,we prayed and after that we sang praises to God.
Then pastor Richard came and began preaching, funny thing he preachd the same thing i was reading.
" Listen my brother's and sisters humble you selves if you want God to use you ,let go of your pride ,greed, selfishness, envy.
And humble yourself, believe and let God take control.
It really touched my heart and I prayed for God to help me.
After the service we got out ,we greet one another, the pastor and others brothers and sisters came and great me,where is Michael by the way.
Lord why do I feel awful after such a wonderful service.
