Michael's pov
After the pastor talked to me for a while and left .
I went to sit on a bench and looked at the people around me,they were all happy and smiling,it was a peaceful place and I felt out of place,I looked at so many, brothers and sisters some going to talk to Lexi and how she smiled at them she was happy being here, it were she belongs not me .
Then everything my mother said came to my head ,maybe... Maybe she's right it isn't just going to work is it, am a proud person ,but I just can't let her go and yet I have to do it for her not me.
Lost in thoughts ,I didn't here Lexi calling me.
" You okay,I was worried when I saw you lost in thought,you okay".
" Am okay",i said standing up not to dare and look in her eye's because if I do it would be something else.
" Let's go if we are done".
" Sure".
Lexi went to call lily and Allen they all got in and it became quite,then Allen broke the silence.
" So why don't we go for lunch ".
" Am not hungry,you guys go ahead".
" Michael what's wrong?"Lexi asked.
" It's nothing ".
" Am worried,I know you are not okay tell me please ".
" It's nothing,am fine Lexi".
" No you aren't ".
" I said am fine!"I shouted.And stopped the car ,I held the steering wheel hard,she got me angry I don't know why ,I had to call down I just can't stay long mad at her.
" I just need a break,I need time alone".
" A break from what,what are you saying".
" A break from this".I said and looked at her,she was already dropping tear's she knew what I was talking about.
" If I knew I wouldn't have opened my heart to you, maybe it was a mistake am sorry".she said and Left the car running.
" I will go with her,Bye Allen I will call you later".
" Sure lily".
And Lily left.
" Michael is this about".
I stopped Allen before he continued .
" It's better this way, let's just go home".
This day I broke both my heart and Lexi but it's for her own good,but is it for my own good too .
