chapter 3 - An accident

Lexi's pov
It was fuzz ish,I couldn't tell what was happening around me ,I couldn't see the person who brought me to the hospital,all I could notice was lab coats and lots of them and my life hanging on a thread.
It's all your fault.
You are a bad child.
Give me that it's mine.
Stupid child.
I hate you.
Pain, slaps,beats,cold water spelt on, hunger, never ending tears.
I couldn't take it all ,the voices the , pain started coming back.
" Please live me alone".
" Then I heard a female voice say, am back sister".
I woke up fast, trying to catch my breath,or think clearly.
" Hey,hey it's me lily".
I looked at who was talking,I saw mia smiling evilly,lord help me please,I shouted putting my leg's together.
" Hey what's wrong".
" Get away from me ",I shouted and pushed lily to the floor,I shook my head and everything became clear and bad timing Edward entered in.
" After I thought I could give you a chance now ,lily too stay away from her monster".
" Edward please it's was an accident I saw mia instead of her am sorry".
" You should be locked up ,you shouldn't be roaming around".
That's streaked me like a sword to the stomach,he said it like I was an animal, tear's rolled down uncontrollably it's hurt.
Then I heard a slap.
" And you call yourself a Christian big brother am ashamed",lily said that has a tear dropped.
" Mom didn't raise us like that".
" Well ,where is your mother now little sister," Edward said and Left.
" Am sorry lily ,am so so, sorry I pushed you".
" Look am not hurt ,am fine don't worry I love you okay you are my bestie,my sister".
" He was right".
" No he wasn't and should never say that again that was awful, forget about that right now, just focus on getting better".
" So do you know who hit me ,and brought me to the hospital?"
" It was a young man who brought you in ",dad said as he was entering the room".
" Hi dad".
" How are you feeling ,baby?"
" Am okay now atleast,did you see the person who brought me ".
" No,the doctor's said he left just after he left you here but he left his number so he could pay the medical bills ".
" Have you called him yet".
" No,do you want me too".
" No I will do it ".
" Alright the doctor said you are free to go ,so let's get ready you go rest ".
" And call the handsome gentle man",lily said.
" How do you know his handsome,you are a problem ".
" What! let a girl dream".
We finally left the hospital and went to our apartment,I dozed off and woke up the next day in the afternoon.
Back to work on Monday haa,and I had so many things to do,has the boss you always have much to do.
The first thing that came to my mind was to call the mysterious person,I dialled the number and someone picked up.
" Hello this is assistant Allen brown from gaming company how may I help you".
" This is Lexi brooks , someone left it this number at the hospital,I got hit and I just wanted to talk to the person ".
" Oh yes , just a minute....boss someone what's to talk to you".
I heard the assistant,say on the other side, boss ....it was his boss.
Both Lily and I looked at each other surprised.
" Really,am busy,who the heck wants to talk to me ".
A deep voice spoke.
" Boss it's about the accident ".
" Ohh ,I see ".
I felt like laughing, from the other end ,I don't know why I never even knew the person.
" Hello".
They it comes again that deep voice that made me freeze in place,I failed to respond.
" Hello",he repeated.
" He..hello this is ".
" I know, how much should I send for the medical bills".
He didn't let me finish.
" I have already payed".
" What else do you want?"
" You know you should be kind and polite to people who you talk to don't be rude".
" Excuse me".
" Look can we meet I have something to say ".
" Can't you say it on the phone ".

" Fine,send me the address,I will come ."
