chapter 13 - Mitchell's memorial

Michael pov
I got home tired,but didn't find Nina ,I know she has her own apartment but I told her we had to talk first anyway maybe later, today has been exhausting.
Before I dozed of ,I received a message from an unknown number,when I opened it I realized who it was,which brought a smile to my face.
(CONVERSATION)
L: hi just wanted to send you a message, so won't come crying to me.😂
M: 😂😂 yeah thanks am happy 😁.
L: Alright then good night.
M: Good night Lexi.
Just after that I dozed off.

The next day I woke up , with the same horrible dream on a specific day , that's today Mitchell memorial and my birthday.
Well my birthday doesn't matter ever since that day I have never celebrated it , only Mitchell memorial.
I heard the door bell , must be Nina ,Allen didn't come home yesterday so it's definitely Nina she always comes when it's Mitchell memorial.so I went and opened the door and yes it was her.
" Hey".
" Hey".
" Come in".
" Why aren't you not yet dressed?"
" Give me a minute I will be ready".
After some minutes passed I came down ready in a black suit.
And we headed towards the graveyard,I hated going there,I just hated this day in total.
We got off the car and went to where she was buried.the was a beautiful picture on her grave stone and she was smiling.
Why ,why was she smiling it was my fault she isn't here so why is she smiling I thought to myself I couldn't hold it any longer I know I just couldn't because I never have ,I was showing the world how powerful and strong I am ,but the truth is am just so soft, tears began to fall ,I squeezed my fit's.
" Hey Michael please look at me".
" No I can't".
" Brother please".
" Mitchell's gone,and she's smiling why is she smiling Nina".
Nina couldn't say anything,she just came and hugged me ,we both cried in each other's arms.
" Hey ,am going back home if you need anything,call Allen".
" But brother".
" Please I just want to be alone".
" Don't you want to go see mom and dad".
" No, it's okay it seems they where already here and I don't think mom would want my presence today".
" Don't do anything stupid,you know I only have you".
" I won't promise".

Nina pov
Michael left and I was so worried so I called Lexi because I knew she was the one to get to him,not even Allen could not on this day.
So I called her.

Lexi's pov
I received a call from an unknown number,am really busy right now so much work to do.
" Hello".
" Hi it's Nina".
" Hi Nina ,how are you".
" Am okay, sorry I got your number from Edward".
" Wait why does he have my number ."
" They are some things you don't know about Edward".
" It seems like I don't know him at all".
" Am sorry, it's not Edward I wanted to talk to you about".
" What's the matter?"
"It's Michael,well today is Mitchell memorial and his birthday,so we went at the graveyard but when he was going home he had this look on his face and am scared,he won't listen to me ,he once tired to end his life one day on his birthday".
" What?"
" Yeah ,so I called you to try and talk to him and comfort him ,I have a feeling he might listen to you".
" Alright I will give it a try".
" Thanks so much Lexi".
" It's fine glad I can help".
And the call cut ,I thought why me above all people.anyway I just hope he doesn't do anything stupid.
