Sorry for the late chapter! Needed a few days break, enjoy the chapter!

(SOPHIES POV): I finished taping the last piece of paper onto what I now liked to call, the "detective wall." I took a small step back to examine my work. I had pinned down pieces of paper to my wall to help relay my thoughts. Though the more I looked at it, the more I realized how useless it was.

Black Swan = prentice? - who?

Moonlark - dead??? *moonlark paper from facility taped next to it*

White eyes = evil? - interested in moonlark? - am I moonlark?

-White eyes were outside my window in NY - triggered memories - neverseen? - everblaze? - DANGEROUS???

I flopped onto my bed, discouraged. So far, all I had was questions, this was getting me nowhere! I took a deep breath. Ok, think Sophie. Start with neverseen. Could that mean they like to hide? Like never seen? I groaned. This sounded worse!

What about everblaze? I thought. Could it be some sort of fire? Like ever blaze. My eyes lit up. I immediately sat up again and grabbed my crutches from the side of my bed. I clumsily walked downstairs to the kitchen. "Hey Edaline?" I asked politely. Edaline looked up from chopping, her eyes widened until they settled on me. Her lips turned to a soft smile. "Yes?"

"Do you know a nearby library I could go to?" She went silent for a few moments. "There's a library in Atlantis." ATLANTIS!? "Can we go!!" I shouted, excitedly. Edaline bit her lip as if thinking. "Why not? Grady won't be back for another few hours anyhow." She said, a smile forming. Edaline snapped her fingers, and the cooking supplies disappeared. I extended my hand out to her, while the other held onto the crutches. She accepted and we made our way to the leap master. "Atlantis!" She shouted.

"This is Atlantis.." I said, disappointed. The bare rocks were hardly the gleaming city I had imagined. Edaline winked and placed her hand into one of the rocks revealing a small vial, reading "One whirlpool, proceed with care" She threw the vial onto one of the rocks and a whirlpool suddenly formed. She motioned for me to go inside. I took a deep breath, and jumped in. I let out a shriek as I slowly fell down. I landed on a sponge and quickly dodged out of the way as Edaline landed next to me. My mouth dropped open as I took in the sight before me. Twisted crystal towers loomed over the gleaming city. A barrier wrapped around, like an air pocket. Edaline helped me readjust my crutches before walking down to the city.

Once we were on the streets, we got tons of looks. "Is that Edaline?" "Who's that kid next to her?" I pretended not to hear them. Edaline raised her hand into the road, as if hailing a taxi. A man with a silver carriage rode up. I tensed as I saw the eight-foot-long scorpion attached. "I'm not getting in that." I stated, taking a step back. Edaline laughed, took my hand and dragged me into the carriage. I grunted in annoyance. "Library, please." Edaline asked the driver. The man nodded and we were off.

I stared outside the carriage, looking at the buildings as we rushed by. Edaline's hand laid atop mine. I didn't move, afraid to lose the moment. The carriage soon stopped, and we hopped off. Edaline gave the man a green card, which he swiped before handing back. I turned around to see a giant crystal tower. Before I could admire further, we were walking inside.

The inside was even more beautiful. There looked to be about seven floors. A giant chandelier started at the top floor and hung to the first. The windows reflected the light into the building, making the whole library gleam. "Wow." was all I could say. "You can go explore." Edaline told me. I nodded in response and made my way to the first bookshelf. I read titles such as "How to Catch Tornadoes 101" "History of Elves" "Crystals and Jewels" "Intelligent Species" I could have spent days, maybe weeks checking out the entirely of the library. But I didn't have that time. I was on a mission. I made my way to the first librarian I saw "Excuse me?" I asked. The librarian turned to me. "Yes?" "Do you have any books on blazes or fires?" The librarian's eyes widened. Her face turned pale. "It's for a project! I go to Foxfire!" I said quickly. Her expression returned to normal, but her eyes still looked wary. "I think we have one in archives on the third floor." She whispered then turned around. What was that about? I thought.

I made my way up the stairs of the library until I had made it to floor three. It was very easy to find the archives. The doors were the only ones that weren't bejeweled or something. It pretty much shouted "DONT COME IN HERE!" I silently pushed the door open and made my way into the room. I flitted past book titles until I found one called "Pyrokinetic's and Fire, all you need to know"

I opened the book and made my way to the first page.

"Pyrokinetic's have the ability to control fire. This ability was banned after an accident involving a dangerous flame called everblaze. Everblaze also known as the "fire of the sun on earth", is extremely dangerous. It is not a normal fire, being the only flame that can harm a pyrokinetic. Everblaze burns neon yellow and smells like burnt sugar. The only way to extinguish this flame is by using a recipe of Frissyn found in chapter five. There is only one known person in existence that has been able to summon this flame, due to its unpredictability. Please continue to....

I closed the book. Could the "white eyes" control everblaze??

Hope you liked this chapter! Chapters will start coming out every 1-3 days, to make it easier on me! See ya!
