Also im sorry if th gif of Jc isn't moving... it was suppose to. But I hope you have a great day my Ratchos)

Jc and I had been canoeing for what felt like hours, there was still no sign of the others anywhere and that began to worry me more and more as the time passed. What if we really were lost and we'd never find our way back to the others I don't know how to act around Jc, what if he gets mad that I led us in the wrong direction after all?.

My thoughts we're interrupted when Jc made a sigh from behind me and I turned to look at him. The way his brown eyes made contact with mine made my heart race as a silence lingered between us.

"Guess I ended up leading us the wrong way after all..." I laughed out nervously although I was freaking out on the inside.

Jc must be mad at me, how could I be so stupid to have lead us the wrong way, but my perception on how he was feeling soon changed when the sides of his mouth tugged into a small smile.

"I guess so" he responded as the silence fell between us again.

Jc looked down to avoid eye contact which confused me, what was he thinking about?.

"Hey Fey maybe now we can talk ab-" A sudden rain drop interrupted Jc's words when suddenly the water surrounding us was being splattered on by light rain.

I let out a gasp followed by a laugh as Jc did the same although there was something that seemed off about him, as if he was annoyed by something. Maybe it was the fact that every time he got close enough to talk to me something interrupted us. Usually being Perris he must of thought he was safe, but I guess mother nature doesn't like us either.

But that feeling from Jc didn't last long as he let out a laugh that I've never heard come from him before, A laugh that sounded as if there was not a bad thing going on in his mind. If I were to describe his laugh it would be that it is high pitched with a squeak but at the same time not at all.

The rain began to pour harder over us soaking the both of us in no time.

"Paddle Fey!" he laughed out.

But as he began to paddle faster behind me the boat turned in a circle, over the rain both of our laughter was the only thing that could be heard.

"C'mon before the boat gets too full of water!" he laughed out again as I turned to him, he pointed at a nearby landscape with tree's not too far away from where we were, "Let's go over there!".

We both paddled hard carrying our canoe a great distance. The shore was covered in rocks of all sizes. I was the first to step out before turning around and extending my hand for Jc to grab onto.

The corner of Jc's lips turned into a side smirk as he took my hand in his. He pulled himself up slowly taking the canoe up a bit further on shore before grabbing the dry sack we had been carrying with us.

We start to run to take cover underneath a large oak tree that sheltered us from the rain. I couldn't help but laugh at Jc. The soaked curls of his hair were stuck to his face, He quickly ran his hand through his hair combing it back and out of his face. When his eyes caught mine I felt a wave of embarrassment wash over me from staring, I guess that look showed causing his smile to grow even bigger then before. I notice a little droplet of water was dripping from the end of his nose and all I wanted to do was 'boop' it, so I did.

Both of us went silent as we just looked at each other with a shocked expression. Jc just bursts out into laughter, not just any laughter, the type of laughter where you can't help but start to clap his hand with tears rolling down his face. I Join in laughing almost as hard as he was.

I don't believe I'm actually saying this but he actually looks good in the current state, I can only imagine what I look like right now. Hair all over the place, clothes all wet and saggy, all I have to say is thank god I have no make-up on.

"we'll wait here for the rain to pass then we will use what's left of the daylight to find our way back," he said from beside me.

I gave him a simple nob not sure what to say. We sat side by side for a while in silence with only the sound of the rain hitting the ground and water around us. I don't know if I was just over thinking but I could feel Jc's eyes on me but never dared to look for the longest time.

---

The sky turned a light orange as the rain began to slow down.

"We should get going, the rain might come back," I said getting up from my cross legged position, "plus the sun is starting to go down, soon there wont be much sunlight left."

I started to walk to the canoe with Jc following close behind me.

"Uhh Jc, were did you leave our canoe?" I said in a slight panic.

"Right there," he said pointing at the empty space in front of us, " I swear I left it right there."

"Are you sure you pulled it up on the shore?" I asked before looking over to him.

"Yeah of course-" Jc began but it followed by another thought, "No" before burring his face in his hands.

Jc begins to pace before he stopped dead in his tracks, "Is that it over there?"

I stood beside him looking over in the direction he was pointing. I began squinting to try making out the figure.

"That's it," I say cheerfully before realizing how far it actually is.

I let out a long sigh before looking over to Jc. At this point he had his flannel laying on the floor as he just finished pulling his shirt over his head and was working on the belt of his pants.

"uhmmm" I felt my eyes widen staring before my cheeks heated up "What are you doing?" I say in a loud tone before quickly covering my eyes with my hands leaving a small crack between my fingers to catch a quick look. that quick looked turned into me staring, but hey who wouldn't, he didn't even notice so it's fine.

"I got to go get that canoe so we can get back," he said looking at me.

"Jc, look how far that is! what good is that going to do? you can barely even see it from here," I say grabbing onto his arm.

We go back to sitting down beside each other under the big oak tree.

"So, what now?" I ask looking over to look at his face as he dug through the dry sack he took out earlier, thank god he was smart enough to because losing the canoe and someone in our groups clothes could probably be one of the worst things which began to make me think.

"Whose bag is that?" I asked.

"Hopefully Kian's I know he packed his cell phone cause the bugger can't last a minute without texting Andrea" he commented digging through it still.

I watched as Jc pulled out a grey hoodie, sweat pants, a couple t-shirts, and a pair of black race cars boxers and he suddenly cleared his throat awkwardly stuffing them in the bag again quickly.

"It's uh it's mine" he said get putting his clothes back in it and standing up.

I gazed up at him getting up as well.

"Race cars" I raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah" he let out in a deep sigh of embarrassment, " who doesn't love Race cars".
