Oliver suddenly woke up when he heard someone knocking on the door.
He turned to Loretta, wondering if he should wake her up or let her sleep. He finally decided to tell her sleep, as that's what she needed the most, and to go see who was at the door.

"Hi!" he said as he opened the door, rubbing his eyes.

"Hi, are you the man I talked with on the phone yesterday?" the man asked.

"Yes sir, I'm Oliver" he said as he shook the man's hand.

"I'm Babette's father, Fred, and she's my wife, Catherine" he said, looking at his wife.

"Hi" Catherine simply said.

"Uhm come in, I'll go tell Loretta you're here, your daughter's room is here" he said as he showed them "well I'll leave you two alone now". He closed the door and went back to their bedroom. Loretta was still sleeping.

"Darling wake up!" he said, gently rubbing her arms.

"Mhhhh what ?" she whispered, not opening her eyes as she was still half asleep.

"They're here, I can already tell you that I don't like this woman, she looks like a witch, she scares me" Loretta immediately started laughing.

"Don't be so hard on her she lost her daughter remember?" she said trying to stay serious after what he said.

"Anyway she could at least say hi with a little more enthusiasm, it never killed anyone" he said which a serious face. She shook her head.

"Bad joke Oliver. Okay I need to go dress up quickly, I can't go say hi to them in my robe" she said as she ran to the dressing.

"It will always be better than the way she did" he heard her laugh from where she was.

"I think I understood that you don't like her" she kept laughing as she came back with her clothes "but please don't make a joke like that in front of her".

"Fine I'll try not to" he rolled his eyes.

After the two of them had changed in their clothes, they directly went to join Babette's parents in her bedroom.

"Hi" Loretta gently said as she opened the door and they both walked in.

"You!" Catherine said as she turned around and ran to Loretta "I'm gonna kill you, you killed my little girl!" she said as she slapped Loretta "It's your fault and you're gonna pay! I can promise you!" she said getting in her face as tears were streaming down Loretta's cheeks.

Oliver immediately went in front her to protect her as Fred grabbed his wife to push her away from Loretta.

"Are you fucking crazy!?" Fred yelled "What's your fucking problem with her? Huh? She didn't do anything to our daughter! It's not her fault! How many times will I have to tell you that Babette was an adult, she was doing what she wanted and her roommate's job wasn't to take care of her and look at her every move. Now stop hating on her, that poor girl did nothing" he kept yelling.

The woman didn't move and stood there looking at Loretta in disgust, not saying anything.

"Uhm I'll let you three go over her things, I'll go for a little walk" Loretta said as she walked away, put her coat on and opened the entry door until Oliver grabbed her arm.

"Hey hey hey stay here, come on don't let her get to you, she's an old witch" he said, making her smile a little.
"it's your apartment, your home so you stay here" he said taking her in his arms.

"You're maybe right" she sighed "I just don't want to upset her more by being around" she explained her feelings.

"You won't, now come with me" he led her to the couch and took her in arms.

"Oliver I really want us to get out of this apartment quickly" she said with her head on his shoulder.

"You packed your things so we can" he said, playing with her hair.

"This afternoon?" she asked.

"This afternoon." he said with a smile.
At the same moment they heard a door opening.

"We have everything, thank you for letting us in" Fred said as he shook Oliver's hand.
"I'm really sorry for what happened" he said as he then shook Loretta's.

"It's fine" she said with a little smile.

"Bye, have a good day" Fred said with a smile as he took his wife by the arm and dragged her out of the apartment.

"Now that they're gone, let's put everything in the car come on" she said, immediately going in the bedroom and walking out with her arms full of boxes.

"Let me help you" he said as he took some of the boxes out of her arms and turned them around so he was in front of the bedroom door, blocking her way.

"Oliver, I need to get the other boxes" she sighed giving her a serious look.

"Okay but give me a kiss first" he said pointing to his cheek.

"Fine" she acted like she was annoyed and instead of kissing his cheek, gave him a kiss on the lips.

"Much better" he said with a big smile as he moved away and went to put everything in the car.

Once the car was full, they ate lunch and immediately headed to the Arconia.

"Take this for now, we'll come back to the car later" he said, giving her the suitcases that contained her clothes.

They both headed to the main door, greeting Lester as they walked in and immediately went up to his apartment.

"I feel so happy to come back here, I know we've been here yesterday but I'm still as excited as I was" she said with a big smile, looking at Oliver as she was walking in, holding the two big suitcases.

"And tomorrow you'll be bored of this place" he joked as he followed her holding boxes.

"Of course not" she said laughing as she playfully stuck her tongue out at him.

She went to put the suitcases in the bedroom and headed back to the door.

"I'll be back, just going back to the car" Loretta yelled as she walked out.

"Okay the door will be open anyway" he yelled back.

As she waited for the elevator, she looked at her watch with a big smile, realizing that they still had all day to work together on organizing the apartment. But the happy haze she was in immediately faded away when the elevator opened.

"Loretta! It's been such a long time!"
