"Darling! Looks like we got an answer from Mr Star of Hollywood" he said as he came back from work.

"Really? Is he coming?" she asked as she lifted her head up from the book she was reading.

"I didn't open the letter, look for yourself Miss I'm the biggest fan of Mr Star" he joked as he gave her the envelope and went to hang up his coat.

She started reading out loud.

Dear neighbor from the 8th floor,

"weird way to start a letter" he said, interrupting her.

I guess it's your lucky day, I've been busy all week but that's the only night I'm free so I would love to join you and your girlfriend for dinner tonight.

Sincerely,

Charles Haden Savage.

Ps : you can also find an official pic from season 1 of Brazzos, it's collector!

"See? I wasn't imagining the 'self-centered' side of that guy" he said, sitting next to her.

"Gosh he really put a signed picture inside. 'I guess it's your lucky day', you can add that to your Charles Haden Savage collection" she laughed "time to take it out of the drawer"

"I bet he's gonna bring us another one tonight" he shook his head.

"Don't complain, you'll be able to get lots of money from those 'collector' pictures in some years" she joked.

"You're right" he laughed "But for now, I think we should start preparing dinner, he'll be here soon. Do you think you're strong enough to come help me?" he asked, not wanting her to do too much.

"Yeah I've been resting all day so let's go" they both went to the kitchen and started preparing dinner.

"Okay so dips before dinner?" he asked as he stood in front of the open fridge.

"Not sure Brazzos will like that. By the way I think he'll be here soon." she said as she checked the chicken in the oven. "babe what's that smell" she said as she lifted her head up to find where this smell was coming from.

"SHIT! The potatos!" he ran to the pan and opened the lid. Black smoke escaped from it, revealing the burned potatos. "I thought I had it under control" he sighed as he threw the pan in the sink.

"uhm it's okay we'll find something else" she said running to the fridge, trying not to laugh.
"Okay let's do pastas instead it will be perfect" she smiled at him.

"I can see that you want to laugh, don't forget that you're not such a great cook either" she raised an eyebrow at him. "okay maybe you're better, at least you didn't burn the chicken" at the same moment they someone knocking on the door.

"Well I guess he's here already" he sighed and went to the door, not knowing she had followed him once she turned the oven off.

"Charles Haden Savage, oh my god I can't believe I'm seeing you in real life" she said, acting like the biggest fan girl as Oliver rolled his eyes.

"I'm glad to meet you too. I didn't really know what to bring so I have a bottle of red wine, I hope you like red wine." Charles said with a smile.

"Oh we absolutely do!" Oliver said taking the bottle from him. She gave him a look.

"Come in, make yourself confortable, we'll be right back" she said with a smile as she pushed Oliver into the kitchen.

"Oliver! Behave please" she said looking at him in the eyes.

"I am behaving" he acted dumb.

"You're jealous!" she said getting closer to him.

"I'm not, but what if I was which isn't true by the way, it would be understandable" he said as he wrapped his arms around her waist, his hands resting just right above her butt.

"You absolutely are!" she chuckled "but that makes you cute"

"Cute?" he raised his eyebrow "What about sexy?" he smirked.

"Oh well you are quite sexy so I guess I wouldn't be lying if I said that" she flirted.

He immediately started kissing her with passion, almost eating her as he trusted his tongue in her mouth, slowly playing with hers.

"Mmmh babe, I think we should....go back" she said as she tried to put him away gently, knowing where this was going.

"I don't really want to" he kept on kissing her.

"Oliver!" she said a little stronger as he recluently stopped kissing her "I didn't want to stop either but I don't want him to find us making out in the kitchen, let's go back" she took her hand and led him back to the living room.

"Sorry for making you wait" she said with a stupid smile as she sat on the couch in front of Charles.

"It's fine, uhm you have some lipstick on your chin" he said, feeling a bit embarrassed because of the sounds he had heard in the kitchen minutes before, perfectly knowing what they were doing.

"Oh uhm haha thanks for telling me" she quickly grabbed a tiny mirror and a tissue out of her handbag that wasn't far from her and wiped the red lipstick on her chin.

"So tell us Charles, except your little Brazzos thing, what do you like to do around here?" he asked as he came in and sat next to Loretta.

"It's going to sound weird but I like cooking, especially omelets. I used to make those for my ex's daughter and since I still make them, it calms me down. I also like taking walks around New York and watching shows about true murder stories, I'd love for one to happen around here" he immediately saw the look on their faces. "Oh no I mean, I don't wish anyone to die but I would love to get to really investigate, just like in Brazzos but a real investigation."

"Well you see, Oliver also love those shows, seems like you have something in common. Right darling?" she stupidly smiled at Oliver, trying not to laugh at the look on his face as she perfectly knew that he had never watched that.

"Uhm yeah yeah that's right" he gave her a look and she was quietly laughing "I'm such a fan of those shows" he said with assurance.

"Which one is your favorite?" Charles suddenly asked.

"Oh well uhm" he quickly looked at Loretta, giving her a 'thank you very much' look as he felt stuck. "I don't really have a favorite, all of them are good".

"Yeah you're absolutely ri-" an alarm suddenly went off and they heard a voice telling everyone to go out of their apartment immediately and regroup in the hall.

"Oliver, what is happening?" she worriedly asked as she still wasn't totally used to the Arconia.

"It's fine baby, it happens once in a while. It's an exercise so we know how to exit our apartment if there's a fire or whatever" he reassured her, giving her a kiss and taking her hand in his.

"The elevators are going to be stuck, just like everytime those things happen, let's take the stairs" Charles said as all three of them went down to join everyone in the hall.

"Hey Lester, wasn't the last exit exercise like a month ago?" Oliver asked.

"It was, but I'm afraid it's not an exercise" he sadly said.

"What do you mean? Is there a fire?" he started to worry, they hadn't even thought about getting their stuffs together.

"I'm not sure but I heard someone saying that a resident has been killed" he explained.

"Killed? Oh my god, do you know who?" he asked.

"Ford Morris and his wife, Ashley I think is her name" he said.

"wait I know them!" Charles suddenly said "What about the kid?"

"The kid?" Oliver was confused.

"Yeah, they had a little boy a year ago. They sent me a birth announcement card when he was born, but I don't remember his name. Conrad maybe" Charles said, trying to remember.
"Wait no, Howard, that's right, Howard Morris"
