After a much needed night of sleep, they both headed to the police station, just wanting it to end already.
When they arrived, the officer Grant was already waiting for them in the hall.

"Hi" the officer said, shaking Oliver's hand and then Loretta's.
"You can go wait in my office, on the left at the end of the hallway, I'll be back" he said as he walked away leaving them alone.

Oliver immediately looked at her "are you still doing okay baby? You were still hurting this morning" he said with worried eyes.

"I don't want to lie to you, I don't feel the best but as I said yesterday it will take time to heal" she said, giving him a reassuring smile.

"Okay if you say so, but the minute you don't feel right, we go back home okay?"

"Okay but for now I think we should go to his office" she said taking his hand to lead him to the office and at the same time the officer came back.

"You can sit right here" he said pointing to the two chairs that were in front of the desk. "So I would like to hear about what happened on both of your sides, is that okay with you?"

"Yeah fine but the minute she doesn't feel right we sto-" he started saying as Loretta suddenly stopped him.

"I'm fine it will be alright" she said, gently caressing his arm.

"Of course sir, if something's wrong we'll stop it's not a problem. Okay maybe you should start Miss Durkin, you've been the first who's been kidnapped" the officer encouraged.

"Uhm yeah right, where should I start?" she asked nervously.

"You could maybe start with what happened at the church" Oliver said, looking at her with a smile.

"Well that day it was the funeral of my roommate and when I arrived I immediately went inside to see if Oliver was already there but when I came in only his friends were there, I asked them if they knew if he was there and they said no with a cold tone that made me immediately feel uncomfortable so I left the church as fast as I could, just wanting to wait outside for Oliver. But at the moment I leaned against the church I felt a hand on my mouth and everything went dark" she said as tears were already running down her cheeks.

"When I arrived there I asked everyone if they had seen Loretta but they said no except Richard who helped me finding her. We searched for her everywhere but nothing and I got really worried" Oliver explained as he wiped her tears with his thumb.

"Okay but you found her two weeks later is that right? Did you keep searching for her during those two weeks?" the officer asked.

"I kinda did, as I said I was worried but I was lost and didn't know what to do, even the police had closed the case" he explained.

"I see, okay you can keep going" he said.

"Then it was Thanksgiving time and Roberta invited me to her Thanksgiving party with all our friends, at first I didn't know if I really wanted to go, I was missing Loretta so bad and wanted to be alone" Loretta immediately took his hand, hearing the emotion in his voice.

"During that time I was laying in Roberta's basement and everyday she came in to simply hit me until Thanksgiving where she came, gave me a dress and told me that I had to come to the party and lie to Oliver so he would stop worrying and even caring about me, so I had no choice and I did, she was ready to kill me if I didn't. After the party she pushed me down the stairs and then everything went black, I have no idea what happened after that" she said still holding Oliver's hand.

"Mr Putnam could you tell us what happened after the party?" Officer Grant asked.

"Uhm well I came back to my apartment after that, Richard told me the truth of what had happened to Loretta and we decided to go save her by ourselves, so I went to apologize to Roberta and asked her if I could go to the toilet when in fact I went in the basement. When I came in it was just dark and I found Loretta on the floor but them Roberta came in and hit me on the head and everything went black for me too. I don't remember anything until we went to the hospital" he said with a sigh.
