Chapter 53

Kasey's POV

-

Everything started to fade.. the further we got down the road, the more faded it got.

I felt my body shaking, my head spinning.. My eyes dropping. I tried to keep them open but it was no use, no matter how I much I tried it just was not happening.

Niall's POV

I woke up in the morning and rolled over to find Kasey tossing and turning, I glanced at the clock on the bed side table, '7:49 am'. I groaned and reached out to her and gently shook her.

"Kasey wake up." I whispered. She just groaned and rolled over to face me still sleeping. "Kasey." I tried a few more times until she finally woke up.

Her eyes  met mine and she looked sad, like someone had ripped her heart out.

"What's wrong?" I asked reaching out to her, she flinched back but eventually let me wrap my arms around her.. Which was strange she's not done that in years.

"Just a bad dream..." She trailed off burring her head into my chest.

Kasey's POV

-

Dream.. It was just a dream? So me and Niall never divorced, he never took me again? I let a breath of relief out knowing I was safe and it was all a dream.

"What time is it?" I asked Niall. I felt Niall move looking at the time.

"It's 8 o'clock babe, do you wan't breakfast?" He asked.

"Yea please, can we have pancakes?" I asked looking up at him.

"I don't see why not, c'mon then." He laughed getting up, he turned around and pulled me up off the bed and waked towards the door me following closely behind. I watched as his back muscles moved as he opened the door and eventually reached Leo's room and picked him up.

"What do you wan't on your pancakes?" Niall asked after making 2 big stacks and a few for Leo.

"Chocolate sauce and strawberries." I grinned as I helped Leo cut his up and added his favourite toppings on which was whipped cream and sprinkles.

Niall placed the plate in front of me and I quickly dug into my favourite breakfast. Niall was quick to follow my actions and eventually all three of us had demolished all out pancakes.

"Thank you..." I smiled looking over at him.

"It's okay baby, glad you enjoyed them." He replied getting up and then cleaning everything away.

"I need to take Leo to nursery." I spoke up about to get out of my chair.

"No i'll do it, I don't mind." Niall said as he picked Leo up out of his high chair.

"Are you sure? I don't mind doing it." I argued politely.

"No course not, i'll do it." And with that he picked him up and walked upstairs with Leo to dress him and to get dressed himself. I looked at the clock '8:37am' Leo was going to be late if he didn't leave now.

"Niall!" I called.

"Im coming." He laughed coming round the corner and down the stairs with Leo. "Won't be long."

I was sat waiting for Niall to get back he had been gone 5 minutes longer than usual, it was now nearly 9 o'clock, probably stuck in morning traffic.
