Elizabeth was with her friends chatting away with them. It was such a bright and charming day that she simply can't stops taking her eyes off the atmosphere around. Elizabeth wondered if everyone was enjoying themselves. The must be. After all, it was something she put in accurate thinking to.
"You did such a wonderful job, your Highness." Shuli says, looking around at the view too. "You never at all miss when you do something!"
Elizabeth smiles to herself.
"What does his Highness think about it all? Did he say it was wonderful too?!" Heide asks. She shakes her head. "His Highness would never say anything like that. He's never ever praised me for anything I've ever done, so this isn't something he would compliment." Her mind tracks back to the little argument they had about how terrible it was.
Her hands clench her crossed arms, a little shaken. She felt embarrassed being insulted by him like that. The way he looked at her with disgust filled to the brim in his eyes. What has she ever done to earn his detestment?
"When will His Highness ever change his mind about you, Empress?" Heide sighs and rests her chin in the palm of her hand. Elizabeth shrugs.
"I have no idea. But I hope it comes soon because I really am losing all my patience with this marriage. I've had patience for almost 10 years. I don't think I have anymore." Elizabeth says. She rubs the side of her arm with her other, feeling the chills spread.
"Help!" A man shouts from the distance with a screeching noise. Everyone stands up and turns to the voice and someone on a horse stumbles into the site.
Elizabeth's eyes wide as she recognizes who that man was. Roman.
"Roman!" She rushes towards him and his crazed horse that was on a rampage. Not only that but he seems to be hurt in his arm. What even hurt him that gravely.
Roman stumbles off his horse and onto the ground with a screeching pain in his arm. Elizabeth immediately gets him up to a sitting position and checks his injury.
"What happened? Why are you hurt?!" She asks as she motions for some people to get some assistance and a physician. She has a worried look on her face. He's in so much pain and she doesn't even know what to do but be worried.
"I don't know, I was just hunting in the area and an arrow came shooting at me." He groans, clenching his injured arm a little.
Who the hell dared hurt the grand Duke of this empire? That was absurd to even hear about.
Elizabeth quickly lifted him up and threw his entire body weight onto her side. "I have you now. I'll make sure you're treated well." She says, huffing before walking slowly with him to any random tent.
She wondered if she can use the tent of the empress and emperors. Since she is the Empress, she can definitely use it. She shifted Roman into her tent and immediately brought a physician over.
