Elizabeth had woken up good this morning, and she half expected to be back to her original time, but she didn't. She was still in the past. It makes her wonder if she came to the past for a purpose and reason, she has to do something in the past to be able to go back to the future. What is it that she had to do?
Last night she had gotten in trouble by her father for creating a ruckus in the mansion, and that she had lied to the servants. This didn't help her already diminished reputation with the servants, it just worsened it. But this wouldn't matter after she leaves and goes to the future and becomes the empress-
Elizabeth stills. If she changes the course of this story, and the events, she won't be becoming empress. She won't be, it will be Ludovika instead. So she must get used to this life, this suffocating house and servants that look down upon her secretly. When she lived her, it was almost like she was living in a enemies house. Barely being raised. It felt like it wasn't where she belonged, but when she was in the imperial palace, she felt more at ease. Not so suffocated anymore.
Will she really have to return to this life again? As Elizabeth was lost in thought, the butler hurriedly comes running in. He was holding a letter in his hands as he barged in. It almost shocked Elizabeth that she covered up herself with a blanket. "My lady, it's from the imperial palace. The crown prince is asking for you, my lady." The butler says through breaths, still trying to catch it as if all the air was knocked out of his lungs. "Well what does the letter say?" She asks, curious. The butler quickly tears open the letter and unfolds the paper, reading it carefully.
"It says that the Crown Prince was injured yesterday in an accident and broke his hand, also its badly wounded to the point the blood won't stop leaking. And he's also poisoned. He heard that Lady Elizabeth uses some sort of Alchemy medicine to heal people's wounds. He wants you to become his royal physician for the time being." He reads it in one breath. I completely still, widen eyes. Was he injured that badly after he left the mansion? Elizabeth threw the sheets off of her and climbed out of bed. She orders:
"Call for some maids immediately to draw a bath, im going straight to the imperial palace. And I need it fast!" She starts looking through her closet and drawers for some alchemy medicine. What was the crown prince thinking getting injured like that? And how did he know that Elizabeth knows a bit of alchemy? She used to read it for fun, and ended up making it her hobby to read. Everything wad so confusing, Maximillian was hurt. And it sees he bleeding nonstop.
And Elizabeth here is shaking, her eyes almost spill tears while she's searching. The maids make a rush and prepare a bath, fine a dress, and get everything ready for her. Elizabeth wasted no time to get ready. Her heart was pounding frantically and it won't stop until she sees that Maximillian is perfect and well. She clenches at her heart, praying that he'll be alright. Because she's never used Alchemy on anyone, only on some little animals that got injured back in the day.
A carriage immediately came to pick Elizabeth up, she brought everything she could for whatever poison he was talking about. She just hoped that he would fine until she gets there.
