The X-Mansion once a year held a karaoke night, and every year, the older students of the X-Mansion hung around to either get drunk or to simply enjoy themselves. This year was no different. Peter, Scott, Hank, Jubilee, Raven, Jean, Kurt, and Y/N decided to stick around. Ororo left earlier because she wasn't much of a karaoke person. The group encouraged her to sing one song before she left. So she sang her rendition of Tina Turner's "What's Love Got to Do With It".

While Scott and Peter tried to encourage Kurt to get drunk even though they were obviously under the influence themselves. Jubilee went up and performed a solo of "I Think We're Alone Now" by Tiffany. "Come on Kurt, it is just one drink!" Peter exclaimed. "Hey you leave him alone. If he doesn't want to drink then he doesn't have to," Y/N stated. "Listen baby, Kurt is such a wuss. It is a party we are supposed to be having a good time," Peter whined. "He doesn't need alcohol to have a good time, and I think you need to lay off," Y/N noted, smelling the alcohol on Peter's breath. "Why don't you get up there and sing?" Y/N wonder. "Ahh I'll get up there later," Peter groaned. "Suit yourself," Y/N quipped.

"Jeanie! Jean, another beer please!" Scott yelled. "Alright Scott I'll get your beer," Jean replied. Y/N passed Jean and Jean looked at them. "Men, right?" Jean muttered. Y/N laughed at her remark as she left to go get Scott his beer. "You know what this karaoke session needs? A little bit of the classics!" Hank exclaimed. "Oh here we go!" Raven declared rolling her eyes knowing Hank was about to make a fool out of himself. Hank got up on the stage and the intro to "Burning Love" by Elvis Presley began playing. Hank started crooning to the song pointing to Raven who was laughing and smiling.

"You know if Hank wasn't old he would probably be my type," Jubilee quipped. Y/N's eyes widened overhearing her say that. "I'm only messing, but he sure has a damn good voice, doesn't he? I am sure Raven is swooning!" Jubilee explained. "Poor Raven is embarrassed as all can be. What are you talking about?" Y/N mentioned. "I don't know, it's kind of sweet," Jubilee stated. Y/N shrugged. "Here Scott I got your beer." Jean said, handing it to Scott. "Thanks babe," Scott said, taking the beer from her and kissing her on the lips. Peter pretended to gag which made Y/N chuckle.

Hank got off the stage and made his way back over to Raven. "So what did you think, Raven? Got to love the good oldies from back when we were young," Hank spoke. "I'll admit I like that song, but my goodness you are something else," Raven acknowledged. "It was that bad huh?" Hank said with doubt in his voice. "Oh no Hank it was good! It's just that-I don't know you can just be a little out there at times, but it is cute," Raven confessed. "Oh" Hank mumbled. "Here let's get you a drink, maybe it will take the nerves out of you," Raven said. "Okay" Hank replied, loosening up a bit.

Jean went up onto the stage to perform "Call Me" by Blondie. "I love this song! Go Jean!" Jubilee cried out. "Color me your color, baby. Color me your car. Color me your color, darling. I know who you are," Jean sang. "You think I should go up there next?" Peter asked Y/N. "Got a song in mind?" Y/N asked. "Oh yeah it's a good one," Peter stated. "Alrighty then silver I think you should," Y/N grinned with glee. They loved hearing Peter's singing voice even though he didn't do it often. "You know what I think I will!" Peter started going up toward the side of the stage to set up his song. Jean finished off the song and heard Scott yelling. "Woo! That's my girlfriend!" Scott clapped and cheered.

Peter shook his head as he got up onto the stage and grabbed the microphone. "What song do you think he is going to sing?" Raven asked Y/N. "I don't know," Y/N truthfully answered. The music started playing and Y/N covered their face. "Oh good grief," Y/N exclaimed. "You Can Call Me Al" by Paul Simon began to start. Y/N liked the song, but they knew Peter was going to mess with them. It was within his nature. Peter begins to sing the opening verse glancing at Y/N.

Once it got to the chorus Peter started dancing a little. "Come on Y/N! Come on dance with me!" Peter yelled during a short interlude in the song. "Oh I don't know," Y/N hesitated. "Get up here!" Peter insisted, jumping off the stage and grabbing Y/N's hand to dance with them. Y/N takes his hand and begins to sway with him as he continues to serenade. He begins to walk around trying to get the rest of the group to dance which most oblige except for Raven. She just giggled at the sight.
