Summer had almost come to an end and everything was going smoothly besides the fact they had yet to find Stefan and get him back home but other than that it just felt like summer. Dylan had finally gotten his act together with Daniella and so did Tyler with Caroline everything was back together.

It was currently the day before the first day of school and all the seniors were planning pranks at the school. Daniella was also there since most of her friends were seniors and they didn't want to leave her out.

"I need more glue" Daniella said to Dylan who walked over to hand it to her instantly so she could continue gluing the drawers shut.

"When they offered you to skip a grade in middle school why didn't you say yes?" Dylan had been bringing up the fact about Daniella skipping a grade a lot since she would spend most of her time with them anyways.

"Tyler refused to be in the same classes as me. My mom figured it would be hard on both of us" Daniella shrugged. She would be lying if she said she wouldn't have liked to be in the same grade as them. She would do it anyway.

All the fun she was having with them was weird how much she was starting to realize it would suck eventually when they actually graduated and she still had a year left of it on her own besides Jeremy.

She figured Dylan was feeling the same way too since he kept asking the same question over and over again as well as making sure to invite her to every thing they were doing.

"I'm going to go grab the poppers Caroline brought. I'll be back" he announced before stepping out. Daniella continued to do what she was doing with no problem.

It wasn't the first time she had been at school on her own decorating things. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary until she heard something drop. She looked up to see what had dropped so she could pick it up when she heard something else move.

"Dylan, that's not funny, I'm not supposed to be the pranked one!" She accused him, still looking around. Then again something swished by making a gush of wind go through the room. That's when she got scared.

Suddenly she was up against the wall when she opened her eyes she saw someone she didn't think she would ever see again.

"Missed me?" His smirk grew on his face while he held her arms, keeping her on the wall. "My apologies didn't mean to scare you"

"Every time I think life is getting better you have to appear! Are you seriously that miserable?!" She tried her best to get off him but it was no use.

"I'll have to admit, I was expecting a much better welcome. Keeping your house decorated all summer and all..."

"You were the ones with the flowers?!" Her look suddenly dropped and his smile just widened. "You're so weird!"
