Weeks passed and it was like Daniella's life had flipped upside down. Not in a bad way though she hadn't decided if it was in a good way either. Dylan was still around for at least a good month more.
She had decided to avoid him; she had noticed the closer she got to him the more mad she got. She found herself wanting to be alone. That alone meant her and the company of klaus lately.
It was so weird to her that his company wasn't that bad. She did notice how he was trying really hard to impress her and prove himself. The effort didn't go unnoticed at all; there were times she found herself feeling special thanks to him.
Today after school Klaus planned on sending someone to pick her up since he was working on getting his siblings unliked he insisted on doing it another day but Daniella told him she could wait.
He had to admit that he had never come across someone so understandable. The girl even if she didn't understand everything about his world so well took the time to understand him. She would stop herself from saying something rude to him to think and understand the things he had to do.
That meant everything to him. He was more attracted to Daniella everyday with the little things she did.
After school as expected Daniella was picked up by someone and taken to Klaus' home. She knew he was busy sorting out something's so she stayed out his way.
She sat on the couch in the living room waiting for him to not be busy anymore. She just looked around and picked up a book to read.
Sometimes she found herself confused about the whole thing. What if one day her friends were to find out that she was here hanging out with the person they hated most. She was supposed to hate him too but she just didn't anymore.
Daniella was growing to like being around him but she knew that him and her friends were still having problems which made her feel guilty at times. She tried to tell herself that at this point it was them provoking him.
Everything had been settled but they still managed to find something else to do to go after them.
While she sat down reading she heard a few screams. She got up and walked to try and find the source of the screams. Once she reached it she saw Damon tied up being tortured by Klaus and Rebekah causing the girl to gasp.
"Daniella..." Klaus tried to explain but the girl stepped aside not wanting to look at her friend in pain. He followed after her, stopping her at the end of the hall. "Just let me explain"
Daniella knew there was some weird explanation they were always down each other's throat she just simply didn't want to see. She stopped wanting to let him have the opportunity to explain himself. Everyone deserved that.
