After more hours of traveling, Rimuru and his crew arrived at the destination—The Armed Nation of Dwargon—home of the Dwarves. "I will only bring Gobta and Ranga with me."

Rigur tried to speak up, "But—"

"Now, now. I know you guys want to protect me 24/7, but I can take care of myself." Rimuru gave Rigur's shoulder reassuring taps. "And the more people I bring in, the harder it is to maneuver around."

"Yeah, that makes sense..."

Rimuru looked past Rigur's shoulder to other Goblins. "And you guys don't have to be so blue. I want you to wait outside and not cause any problems, okay?"

"Yes, Rimuru-Sama," They said.

After talking with them, Rimuru and Gobta joined the line leading into the city. Ranga also jumped into Rimuru's shadow. Great Sage called it "Shadow Motion", a skill intrinsic to Ranga and his race.

This was better, it would be bothersome to bring a 4 meter-tall dog into the city, having him hide in Rimuru's shadow would make things easier for Rimuru. Now he only had to wait.

As expected from a trading center such as Dwargon. The line was long, like, really long. The visitors themselves were varied, Humans and Demi-Humans.

"What are these small fries doing here?"

"A Goblin and a Slime. Disgusting."

"They probably have a dead wish to step into this civilized area."

A group of Humans dressed like delinquents approached and threatened Rimuru. They were adventurers, if Rimuru got their motif right.

Dwargon might accept every race equally, but they weren't inside Dwargon. If Rimuru and Gobta were to be attacked, nobody would lend them a hand. Gobta was shakened. Probably wasn't the first time he was threatened. Being a good leader that he was, Rimuru knew he had to put his foot down, showing these people he wasn't an easy target to pick on.

"You should step back," Rimuru warned.

"Hmm? Did that blue blob just yapping?" The party leader said, but he didn't pay more attention to that detail. "Whatever, they're such eyesores!" He pulled out his sword and aimed it at Rimuru, which Rimuru easily dodged.

"Are you serious?!" Rimuru exclaimed, "I tried to reason with you!"

"Only an idiot would listen to what a monster had to say!" For him, monsters were monsters. So what if they could talk? What difference did that make? They weren't Humans. They weren't even Demi-Humans. Monsters were hostile beasts. Nobody would give a single damn if one died.

Rimuru, who didn't want the situation to worsen, so he didn't attack back. He still wasn't sure if attacking Humans had a consequence. He wasn't sure if he had to abide by the rules setted for Veldanava or not.

'I will just make them run away.' Rimuru remembered that "Coercion" didn't work on Ranga and his pack, but it became "Haki" now thanks to Great Sage's effort. Maybe it would successfully repel these people away. Making up his mind, Rimuru used his Extra Skill: Haki.

«Notice: Protecting Individual: "Gobta" and Master's other subordinates.»

'Protect? From what—' Before he could ask for more detail. His condensed Haki was leaking out. The targets were hit by it and fell on the ground, unconscious. 'Maybe I went a tad bit overboard...'

«Notice: Result of Extra Skill: "Haki"...740 ran away, 370 confused and feared, 37 unconscious.»

'That was more than "a tad bit"! Why was it that potent in the first place!'
