Returning from Eurazania, Rimuru was finding work for the new members he brought back with.

Carrion's nation didn't have a currency system, they used bartering and fighting instead. Rimuru couldn't let them do that in Tempest, if they'd live here, they had to use the point system like others.

But fighting was their base instinct. Prohibiting them altogether would be torturous for them, so instead of that, Rimuru planned to take advantage of that trait.

"Excuse me." Rimuru led Grucius and Phos into a certain building.

This was the goblin rider's base of operation. Though Rimuru called them by that name, their official name was the 'Tempest Security of Defense and Patrol'.

They protected the city from magic beasts. The personnels of this group had to fight with monsters all the time, it was a job lycanthropes would appreciate.

"Great Rimuru? Sorry sir, Captain and Vice-Captain are on patrol." The person who came out to welcome them was Gob'emon.

The goblin rider had Rigur as its captain and Gobta as its second-in-command. Gob'emon here was equally reliable, it seemed like he was also a vice-captain candidate before they went with Gobta.

"Well, we can do this without them. I just want to introduce you guys to your new recruits." Rimuru pointed at the lycanthropes. "They're Demon Lord Carrion's subordinates, and they'll be with us for the time being."

There was anxiety on his face at first, but after Rimuru told him about the cultural exchange and understanding, Gob'emon understood and complied.

"So soft~" Phos said, cuddling with a star wolf.

Star wolves here were taken care of and well-groomed. Of course their fur would be soft and fragrant.

"Can I really ride them?" Grucius asked, scratching the star wolf's neck.

Gob'emon replied, "Of course. Everyone here has their buddy, why shouldn't you?"

"Buddy? Not pets?"

Rimuru was the one answering. "Tempest might start as a goblin village, but star wolves are also our starting members. They are our citizens, with citizenship."

Rimuru left the rest to Gob'emon.

He was far from town for days, now he just wanted a boost in morale. "Milim-chan~ Oh, sorry... I got too excited." He was right to leave her with Shuna.

Rimuru was searching for them with Universal Perception, and he found Milim sleeping on Shuna's lap.

"Welcome back, Great Rimuru," said Shuna. Her face was slightly regretful.

"What happens?"

"Well... I have been in this position for hours already. Can you help me out?"

Rimuru nodded. Milim's face was so peaceful, it made him feel like a bad person to wake her up, but he had to do this for Shuna's sake.

He walked closer and crouched down. "Milim, do you want to play?" Rimuru whispered.

Milim's eyes fluttered open. Her ahoge swayed from side to side. "Play!" She curled a fist and punched Rimuru, which he blocked in time.

He was pushed back a few meters away by the force, but he smiled. "C'mon Milim, if we fight here Shuna would be mad."

Rimuru brought her to a training ground where they could exercise all they wanted. For Milim, fighting was a form of playing. It was a collective instinct dragons had in common regardless if they were dragons, true dragons, dragonewts or dragonoid.
