Rimuru stared at the woman Testarossa brought back. 'Why does she look so distraught?' Maybe sending Testa to do the job wasn't the best idea. She certainly wasn't known for her tenderness.

At the heart of the Capital City of Rimuru, there was a celebration. Charybdis was a formidable foe, at least in the eyes of most. So a party after its defeat would do great for the citizens' morale.

Most of the Megalodons were in good shape, there were also pieces of Charybdis that weren't being destroyed by Drago Nova as well. "Do you want some? These fishes turn out to be delicious," Rimuru said and offered a bowl of soup to Mjurran.

She hesitated. Somehow she seemed to be fearful of Rimuru. 'Seriously, what did she do to you?' Rimuru turned to the Primordial White, but she only gave him a proud smug.

"Nothing to be afraid of. I am not a bad slime." He released a small amount of Hero's Haki. In the right amount, it could be used to soothe a panicked soul.

'What a reliable skill.'

«Remember what you said when I got you that skill?» Raphael remarked sarcastically.

'Fine. I'm wrong. Are you satisfied?' Who would have thought it'd be this useful? At first he thought of it as a downgrade of his Dragon Spirit Haki.

"If you don't mind, what's your name?"

"Mjurran..."

"Mjurran, why are you spying on me?"

Even if she already calmed down, she still hesitated to answer Rimuru. She seemed to be frightened of something.

"Whoever that puppeteer is, they cannot reach you here. You have a new heart now. So please, answer Lord Rimuru's question," Testarossa leaned closer and whispered. But instead of helping, it did the opposite, it terrified her even more.

"Sorry about Testa."

"I-It's nothing." Mjurran took a deep breath before telling Rimuru everything. "I received an order from Demon Lord Clayman to spy on you."

As soon as she was found by Testarossa, Clayman was ready to throw her away. Mjurran said that in the past, she was tricked. Her heart was stolen and replaced by the Marionette Heart. In other words, her life after that belonged to Clayman.

"He didn't hesitate to throw you away," Testarossa added. "That magic device controlled your life. It also doubles as an eavesdropping gadget."

Clayman didn't trust her. But then again, the problem had been solved, the device had been destroyed.

From Raphael's analysis, it seemed like the organic heart worked just fine, there wasn't any weird spell on it. "Thanks for the information. This time don't get tricked by some shady man again, okay?"

"Eh? You'll let me go?" Mjurran wanted a confirmation. It couldn't be that easy, right? She was literally a spy sent by a Demon Lord.

"You were forced into working with him, right? Punishing you won't do me any good," said Rimuru as he ate a spoonful of Megalodon soup. He acted so chill as if this wasn't a serious interrogation.

Originally, the atmosphere in the middle of a celebration didn't suit an interrogation in the first place.

"Be grateful that Lord Rimuru has mercy on you."

Mjurran shuddered when Testarossa placed hand on her shoulder. She felt grateful to be helped, but that didn't change the fact that Testarossa was a frightening woman.

"Rimuru-sama!" Mjurran mustered her courage. "Please let me be your subordinate!"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes," she replied. "But this time I didn't get tricked into contracts or had my life depend on it. This time it's my decision."
