3 months after the defeat of the Orc Disaster, Rimuru's village went through many renovations to the point that it could be called a city instead.
We had to thank the labor that the orcs provided. With their raw number and physical strength, the construction went smoother than ever.
Other than that, Geld's unique skill: 'Gourmet' also allowed the transfer of materials from place to place to be much faster, using his version of Stomach.
Every building in the city was either built from wood or brick. At the heart of the ever-growing city, the biggest building was the government hall where internal affairs were decided.
Considering the number of citizens, Rimuru ordered the preparation of a proper farming. We used to rely on hunting and gathering, but that wouldn't suffice anymore.
Rimuru appointed 'Lilina' as the supervisor of production and agriculture. Which was going pretty well thanks to Treyni giving them the Blessing of the Forest, making corps grow exponentially faster.
The aqueduct was created as well.
But too much about the city's progress. Let's talk about Rimuru's personal progress.
In the last few months, Rimuru had trained with different weapons: sword, spear and bow. He wanted to get used to more fighting styles, but there was an ulterior motive also.
That one night, Rimuru was alone in the training ground. He trained his sword skill with Hakurou, his spear skill with Gabiru, but when it came to bow, he trained alone. Every night when he was done with his work, Rimuru would come here to hone his ability to aim.
When he was sure that nobody was around, Rimuru brought out the Veldanava Sword. The divine construct twisted into a form of divine bow.
Sub-skill: 'Imitation' of Weaponry could turn a weapon linking with it into other forms of weapon, though its grade would temporarily go down one stage.
The Veldanava Sword was genesis-graded. But in its concealed form, it was an equivalent of god-graded equipment. That made the bow he held just a legend-graded.
Rimuru trained just like every night, shooting arrows again and again. Some hit the middle spot, some were inaccurate, but it was better than when he first started. Admittedly, Rimuru only came this far because of Raphael's encouragement.
Rimuru thought about procrastinating his training often, but Raphael always pressured him back to the right path. He trained for months without missing a single day thanks to Raphael's strictness.
The last shot of today, Rimuru prepared his arrow, but before he took his fingers off of the string, a strange sensation hit him like a truck. A limitation of the mind had been broken down, and his flow of thoughts ran faster than ever.
The arrow flinged through the air, hitting the exact middle of the target's ring. Months of his training cultivated, leading to one of his Pseudo Soul evolving from a Human into an Enlightened.
That happened last month, and just last week, the Pseudo Soul that was constantly exposed to large amounts of magicules was corrupted and turned into a Majin's soul.
The Demon Lord Seed he got from the Orc Disaster was put into that Majin side of his soul by Raphael as well.
All he had to do was maintain this fragile balance. The Pseudo Souls must evolve in a parallel manner. If one was far greater than another, then the weaker of the two would be destroyed. Maintaining this Yin and Yang dichotomy should be his focus.
Rimuru still trained frequently with Hakurou and Gabiru. At night, he still trained his archery skill, and when all was done, Rimuru returned to his office to take a nap.
