After the meeting with Human nations, everything went back to normal.
Fuze and Kaval's party still lived in Tempest. Maybe because they felt guilty for being the only ones being served, lately they started to go on a hunting trip with Gobta and others.
The relationship with Blumund was blooming, because of that, Rimuru had Geld preparing the area for the road. During the preparation, they always got distracted by those monsters.
High Orcs, even the inexperienced ones, were able to defend themselves. But being interrupted during work wasn't very productive. Because of that, Gobta and Goblin Riders were put on duty to protect the workers while they were working.
Sometimes even Milim and Stella joined in. "Rimuru! I got a lot of Giant Spiders!"
"And I helped!"
The dragon girls seemed to enjoy their hunting, meanwhile Kaval and his crew had to drag what these two hunted back to the city.
If you didn't know any better, you wouldn't know this was one of the Demon Lords and her subordinate. "So talented," Rimuru praised. He liked to praise Milim, it gave him a sense of euphoria even he couldn't understand. "But do you really plan on eating all of that?" Rimuru asked and glanced at the pile of Giant Spiders.
They looked scary on the outside, but their meat was surprisingly delicious. It might be comparable to crab meat. 'But isn't that too much?'
"Silly you! I hunted them for everyone! There's your portion, too!"
Listening to that, Rimuru couldn't hide his smile. He then turned to Stella. This cute dragon girl was more troublesome than she looked. It wasn't a big deal. Mostly it came from the differences in culture and values between 'The City of the Forgotten Dragon' and 'The Jura-Tempest Federation'.
She started to adapt, and that was a good sign. "It turns out you could eat meat, too. I was under the assumption that the Dragon Faithful are vegetarian."
"Not at all, we can eat meat, too! But only the meat we hunt on our own!" She replied, confident in the teachings she followed. The Dragon Faithful followed the same values as their ancestor, the Dragons of the Great Canatt Mountain.
Dragons were the top of the food chain. They took pride in their hunting prowess. The Dragonewts that worshiped Milim also followed the same rules.
"I'm already hungry..."
"Don't worry, Lady Milim! I will cook for you this time!" Stella said, always full of positive energy like usual.
"Oh! You have my attention!"
Rimuru didn't want to ruin the kids' fun, but... "Stella-chan, didn't you burn down the kitchen a few days ago?" Letting her into the kitchen again was just a calamity waiting to happen.
"Well, maybe it's a sign that you should make your kitchen non-flammable!"
Rimuru replied, "That doesn't even make sense!" He stroked her turquoise hair with a force behind it, they seemed to enjoy the cute aggression, as expected from a Dragon's descendant.
"No fair! Where's mine?" Milim pleaded with Rimuru, forcing him to give her a head pat as well, which Rimuru couldn't bring himself to deny such an opportunity.
"Hmm... This feels nice." Milim's face made it look like she could melt in Rimuru's palm if he continued.
"I-It's whatever..." Stella, trying to act tough in front of Milim, tried to act like nothing happened. But she seemed to enjoy the head pat as well.
