Rira leads the group with Chiyo on her back, the party seemed to have died down although some live music was still present. The brunette stopped.
"Here's Ongaku Square, we'll meet here in an hour. You can check out the stores in the meantime."
She sets Chiyo down, as she runs over to Sanji, a hungry look on her face.
"You're a cook, right??! Can you make me something!!?"
He looks down at her.
"I'd need some ingredients, but sure, kiddo!"
He smiles at her, picking her up. Rira looks at them for a moment, an expression of slight concern on her face, which Nami picks up on.
"Don't worry, Rira. You can let them go shopping. Chiyo will probably be the one in charge anyway."
"Alright... you wanna go shopping for clothes with me? You seem to have good taste, Miss Nami."
"For sure, I've been stuck on a boat with the boys for forever!! Let's get some clothes!"
Nami runs off with Rira's hand in hers, before anyone could follow. Zoro starts walking off in a random direction, followed by Usopp to make sure he doesn't get lost. Luffy walks over to the live music, his eyes frantically traveling from the food stands to the few dancing people, excitement clear on his face.
"Can I get a toy, Mr. Sanji??"
Chiyo puts on her best puppy dog eyes, easily defeating the blond.
"Of course! Pick out whatever you'd like!"
Chiyo beams, quickly running through the toy store before landing on one thing. A massive stuffed bear. She grins evilly, dragging it back to the man, the plush bigger than her.
"I want it."
Sanji picks it up, putting the money on the table of the cashier, before giving her a wink and taking off with Chiyo. The kid skipped along with her new favorite person.
"I'd better pick out a flower girl dress, for Rira and Sanji's wedding."
Meanwhile, Nami and Rira had entered a clothing store, Nami picking up what felt to Rira like random articles and going into the changing room, Rira waiting outside. After putting on the first combination, Nami opened the door to reveal to Rira.
"What do you think?"
"Looks good."
"C'mon... give me a real opinion. I need details!"
"You look good in a blue dress, it contrasts well with your hair. The shape however, I'd say it could be more flattering, it doesn't fit well on your shoulders. A sleeveless dress would work better."
"I don't wear anything sleeveless..."
Rira tilts her head, confused.
"But you've got such a nice body? But that's a personal thing, so if you don't wanna, it's fine. I don't wear 'em either."
Nami smiles slightly at the brunette, tossing her a few hangers.
"Try this on."
Rira walks into the next dressing room, Nami changing back into her normal outfit. They both come out, Nami checking to see if Rira looked good or not. The latter had put on a long sleeve white shirt, with a yellow dress on top, complete with a strip of ruffles on the bottom.
"Aww, you look so cute!!"
Nami mused, making the brown-haired look away from her.
"Thanks... I'll get this one then..."
She walks back into the changing room, putting on her normal attire, and holding the new outfit. They buy a few more sets of clothes, leaving the shop with bunches of bags on each arm.
Luffy had decided to buy some meat, devouring it at a table in front of the musicians, listening to their song.
"As the sea waves crash, sound waves moving fast, the spirit of Ongaku is here! Brightening the sea of east, we'll sing then feast! Stare into the stars with me~ this little island brings us light, yet so humble out of sight... I hear you play from the day to the night, so don't put up a fight~ join in the music with me!"
Not far away, Zoro had grabbed a drink and he and Usopp were listening to the song as well. It was a simple song which repeated itself, broken up by instruments playing and what was obviously freestyling.
Sanji and Chiyo were getting closer, the child covering her ears, Sanji stopping to look at her.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
She didn't answer, closing her eyes and squinting. Sanji figured the music was too loud, so he picked her up, letting her lay on the bear, and carried the two to an ingredient store. Chiyo calmed down at feeling the soft plush, her eyes opening again at the now quiet scenery.
"What would you like to eat? I can make anything, you know."
Chiyo smiles softly, thinking.
"Surprise me, Mr. Sanji."
Sanji buys a bag of ingredients, taking her to the Merry and letting her sit at the table. Chiyo watches Sanji skillfully toss some noodles into a pan, adding seasonings and transferring the dish to a plate, setting it down in front of her. She seems weary of the dish at first, tilting her head.
"I call it... Cheer-up-Chiyo, fried noodles. You can try it, if you don't like it, I'll finish it for you."
She giggles at the name, getting a small bite on her fork and trying it. Her eyes widen, taking in the flavor and savoring it.
"Wow... yummy!!"
"Now, wanna explain why you got upset earlier?"
He raised his one uncovered eyebrow, washing some of the dirty dishes while she ate. He wasn't looking at her when he heard sniffling, and he quickly turned around.
"What's wrong, Chiyo?"
"The parties.. it's every day and every night... it's so loud..."
Tears were streaming down her cheeks, her plate finished.
"Too loud?"
"It hurts my ears..."
She slowly looks up at him, his gaze sympathetic.
"I'm sorry... you can stay where it's quiet, okay?"
She nods and sniffles.
"Thanks for the food."
She jumps down from the chair, bear in her arms.
"It's almost been an hour... how about I cover your ears when we go down there?"
"Okay!"
