It had been almost a week since Maleficent was injured, and hades wasn't any less worried than when he first found her. The medics found that her injuries were far worse than Hades originally believed. She had 7 broken ribs, a minor skull fracture as well as a concussion, 1st degree burns on her face and hands, 3rd degree burns on her back, arms, legs, waist and collarbone, as well as all of the cuts along her body being burned from what seems to be the inside out. She had a stab wound on her thigh that was all the way down to the bone, and had 2nd degree burns on the side of the wound. Along with another stab wound on her side, just below her ribs. Her throat was burned and inflamed from what the Healers could only assume was her breathing fire and screaming/crying. The medics had to put her on oxygen due to the amount of smoke in her lungs and her struggling to breathe. And to add insult to injury, she was extremely dehydrated and malnutrition, almost as if she hadn't eaten since the last day of school. (Which honestly, she probably didn't.)
Hades hadn't left her side the entire time. He stayed at her bed side, holding her hand and just watching her sleep for the past week. (Okay that last part sounded less weird in my head). She hadn't moved or woken up since hades found her, and it worried him. The medics told him that she probably wouldn't wake up for a while as her body worked to heal itself, but it didn't help to settle his nerves. His girlfriend wasn't the only thing that he had to worry about. The underworld has been crazy busy since that day, thousands of souls coming from the fire, than another 100 or so showed up a week later due to a plague. Hecate was trying to keep things under control, but without Hades having ANY control of his kingdom, it was like when Loki and Hermes got drunk together; pure fucking chaos!
Hades and Maleficents friends have been spamming his phone for the past week, trying to get any information about Maleficents condition only to be completely ignored. Heck they didn't even know what happened to being with! And well...neither did hades really. All he knew was there was a fire in the moors, presumably caused by soldiers, which killed everyone in the moors. Than a dragon, more than likely Maleficent as a dragon, attacked the kingdom near the moors, killing everyone in the kingdom. Hecate had come back to check on Maleficent,(and on Hades) and was a bit frustrated when she saw Hades sitting in the same chair beside Maleficent's bed that he had been in for the past week.
"You know she's not gonna die if you leave for 10 minutes." Hecate said to Hades, pulling him out of his thoughts. She was leaning up against the door frame watching the god of death.
"I'd rather not chance it."
"Hades when was the last time you eat? The last time you slept? Or fuck taken a shower?" Hecate asked, walking over to him.
"I showered yesterday."
"Could've fooled me."
Hades glared at her to shut up, she didn't. "Go eat, go sleep, fuck go shower or something! I'll stay here with her."
"No."
"Why not?!"
"BECAUSE I CANT!!" Hades yelled at the top of his lungs, tears falling from his eyes. "I can't leave because the last time I did she stopped breathing!! I left, for 2 minutes, and came back to the love of my life not breathing. I cant leave because I don't know what will happen to her if i do!!"
Hecate stared sadly at him. She hated seeing Hades this upset and not being able to do anything about it. Hades sat back down beside Maleficent, wiping the tears off his face. "I will fucking go eat or sleep or whatever when I know for damn sure she isn't going to be dead when I get back. Until then, back the fuck off!!"
"Fine," she answered, grabbing Hades phone and tossing it at him. "but text your friends back. They don't need to be left in the fucking dark." And with that, she left. Hades looked at his phone, seeing the 100+ messages and missed calls from his friends.
"Fuck..." he mumbled.

Morgi to Hades: yeah!! Is Maleficent okay!? What happened with the fires!? We NEED information dude!!
Hades to everyone: she has 7 broken rips, skull fractures, major concussion, several 1st and 3rd degree burns, many cute and bruises, 2 stab wounds that were burned from the inside out, lots of smoke in her lungs, her throat is burned and she can barely breathe by herself, and she's completely dehydrated and malnourished. How the fires started...I have no idea. I do know that pretty much everyone in the neighboring kingdoms is dead and everyone in the Moors is dead.
It took a solid 10 minutes for anyone to respond to Hades.

Maleficent was a bit panicked when she woke up, not knowing where she was or if she was safe. Hades shut his phone off and scooted closer to Maleficent, holding her hand and brushing the hair out of her face. "Easy baby," Hades cooed, "you're safe now. It's okay, you're okay."
"Wh...where..are we...?" She asked, her voice raspy from the burns.
"We're in the underworld; my home." He answered.
Maleficent looked around, honestly surprised that her boyfriend lived in a place like this.

Hades chuckled seeing the confusion look on her face. "Not what you were expecting huh?" He teased. Maleficent shook her head in response. "You forget I'm a king, baby."
"Hm.."
"Do you remember what happened?" He asked.
Maleficent tensed up when he asked. "I d..dont want..to t..talk about...it"
"Okay. You don't have to. Not till you're ready." Hades reassured her. "Do you need anything?"
"C..can you ju..just lay wi..with me...?"
"Ofc lotus flower." Hades went over to the other side of the bed and laid beside her, pulling Maleficent close to him and being mindful of her injuries. Maleficent snuggled up against his chest, hanging a small grip on his shirt. "You comfortable?" He asked.
