Hades X Maleficent love story💜💙

Honeymoon

Hades took Maleficent out to his chariot, ready to get their honeymoon started. Hecate and Thanatos met them outside to bid farewell. "You ready to see Greece?" Thanatos asked Maleficent.

"Hell yes!" Maleficent cheered.

Thanatos smiled the turned to Hades, "little on the nose taking her to Greece dont you think?" He teased.

"Kindly go fuck yourself Thanatos." Hades teased him back.

"Boys behave," Hecate told them helping get their bags onto the chariot.

"Tease my husband all you want, I'm excited to see his home country." Maleficent, lacing her fingers around Hades.

"She's just perfect isn't she?" Thanatos teased Hades. "Seriously, how did you manage to win her over?"

"I ask myself the same question." Maleficent playfully slapped her husband chest and climbed onto his chariot. Hades climbed into after her and took hold over the reins. "We will see you guys in a month or so."

"Yeah right. We'll be lucky to see you before the school year starts." Thanatos joked.

Hecate lightly slapped his arm, "don't give him any ideas."

The couple waved goodbye and took off towards Greece. Maleficent watched the ground below them as they flew. Being a dragon or being on Hades chariot were the only times she got to fly, unlike the other fairies. Not that she was complaining, she enjoyed flying with her husband.

"Enjoying the view Lotus flower?" Hades asked, putting an arm around her waist.

"Ofc!" She smiled. "I love the view from up here."

"Which is better, flying as a dragon or this?" Hades asked.

"This. Because you're here."

Hades blushed and kissed the top of her head. "You're cute."

"Thank you my love."

"So, I might have lied about where we're going for our honeymoon." Hades said, getting a confused look from Maleficent.

"What do you mean?" She asked,

"Well, we are going to Greece. But I'm also taking you to London and maybe also a cruise."

Maleficents eyes lit up in surprise, "really!?"

"Yep!"

Maleficent practically jumped in his arms and almost made them fall out of the chariot. Thankfully Hades had a good grip on the reins. He hugged her tightly around her waist.

"Hades you are amazing!" Maleficent smiled, kissing his cheek.

"Thanks lotus flower. Only the best for my wife."

Maleficent couldn't stop smiling the rest of the trip. Hades looked down at the ground for a moment then smiled. "We're here lotus flower."

Maleficent looked over the side of the chariot and saw that they were flying over the Parathions. "Wow🤩!"

Hades smiled watching Maleficents eyes light up in an amazement. He landed his chariot in a small clearing away from the mortals. Maleficent barely waited till the wheels hit the ground before hoping off.

"Slow down Lotus flower. Greece isn't going anywhere." Hades teased, stepping off his chariot.

"Sorry, I'm just exited!" Maleficent beamed.

"I can tell." He laughed, taking his wife's hand in his...which he only slightly regretted as Maleficent started running and pulling him along with her. Hades just laughed and ran to keep up with her. "What part of slow down did you misunderstand?" Hades teased running to keep up with her.

The couple ran up to the Parathions, Maleficent was in complete awe at the massive temple. Some of the tourist looked scared and confused at Maleficent but were too scared of her and Hades to say anything. Having horns and a scary dog privilege husband really works for her. Hades face lit up as he watched his wife wonder around the Parathions, never seeing anything like this in her entire life.

After spending a while there, Hades took Maleficent around to see some of the ruins around Greece. He really wished she could have sent them in all their glory when they were first built, but he'll take what he could get. Not that Maleficent even minded; she liked seeing all the old ruins.

"Where are all your alters and temples?" Maleficent asked, walking around Delos with Hades.

"I never really had any." He answered, "not like everyone else did."

"Why not?"

"Humans don't like being reminded of their own mortality. Plus they were very afraid of me and didn't want to get my attention. When they did pray to me, they would cover their faces so I wouldn't know who was praying." Hades explained.

"Considering how much your subjects love you I find it hard to believe that the mortals didn't respect you in life."

"Oh they still respected me!" Hades said, "they were just scared of me. Mortals took death and funeral arrangements very seriously. If the dead weren't given a proper burial, their family could come back and haunt them or they had the risk of getting cursed by the gods." Hades explained.

Maleficent nodded understanding. She liked hearing about her husband's past and the way mortals used to be. They wondered around the island for a while looking at all the ruins and the different types of plants, flora and fauna.

"Of all the things on this island and your interests in flowers?" Hades teased watching Maleficent as she looked over some of the lotus flowers growing near a lake.

"Hey I'm a fairy what did you expect. Plus lotus flowers seeds can be used for a lot of different spells."

Hades just laughed and shook his head; how'd he managed to get a wife this adorable. He sat down beside on the water's bank and summoned a plate of what to Maleficent looks like a weird pastry's. "What are those?" She asked.

"Baklava." Hades answered taking a bite.

"What?"

"Baklava. It's a Greek pastry filled with chopped nuts and honey," Hades answered passing her one. "Try them."

Maleficent hesitantly took one of pastry from him, and tried it. To her surprise it was really good. "Wow."

"You like it?" Hades chuckled.

"Yes! It's delicious."

Hades smiled and stood up, holding his hand out for her. "Just wait till you try some of the other foods in this country."

(I know short chapter but I honestly didn't know what to do with it and I have other ideas that I can't do without a time jump.)
