"Rise and shine you two!" Hecate exclaimed as she marched into Hades room, pulling the blinds open to let the metaphorical sun in. (No sun in the underworld) Hades groaned and pulled the blanket over his head to ignore her. Maleficent snuggled closer to Hades, also trying to ignore the goddess of witchcrafts attempt of waking them up. Hecate rolled her eyes and strolled over to their bed and pulled the blanket off them. "Look alive!"

"Hecate it's too early to be alive." Hades groaned tiredly. "what do you want?"

"It's the first day of school. Now up and at'em! Go shower, get dressed, brush your teeth and come down for breakfast." Hecate ordered them, leaving the room for them to get ready.

"I hate that woman sometimes." Maleficent grumbled.

"Yeah me too." Hades agreed before getting up and stretching. "Gods summer went by too fast."

"No kidding. Now we have to endure hell."

"Lotus flower in case you've forgotten, you basically live in hell." Hades jokingly reminded her.

"Yeah but this hell is fun, school in prison hell." Maleficent stated, hoisting herself out of bed.

"True." Hades said. Maleficent walked over to his side of the bed and hugged him from behind. "I don't wanna go." She whined, nuzzling her face against his shoulder.

"I know, I don't want to either." Hades said. "But Hecate will drag us there if we don't." Hades took her hands and turned around to hug her. "Besides, at least we'll get to see our friends again."

"Who will probably tackle us for pretty much going no contact for the last 2 months."

"True." Hades kissed the top of her head. "Imma go take a shower, wanna join me?" He asked seductively, a mischievous smirk on his face.

"If I ever say no to that question smack me."

Couple hours later, the couple were in Hades limo on their way to Merlin academy. Maleficent had fallen back asleep on Hades shoulder while Hades scrolled through his phone, catching up on all the mortal news that had happened over the last 3 months. The only things were about the fire Stephan and Maleficent started, the death of Stephan, the death and chaos of everyone in his kingdom, the destruction of the Moors and the lose of princess Auroras first child. "Looks like the curse held up." Hades mumbled to himself.

"We are here my king." The demonic driver said, pulling Hades out of his thoughts. Hades looked out the window to see the school yard packed full with kids. Hades thanked the driver and shook Maleficent awake. "Lotus flower, wake up. We're here."

Maleficent groaned and nuzzled into the crook of his neck. "Nooo" she whined. Hades chuckled, "come on, we gotta find our friends." He got out of the limo and held his hand out for Maleficent. Sighing, she took his hand and got out. Hades skeleton servant grabbed their bags and the couple went inside to find their friends. While waking around, Maleficent quickly noticed all the students either glaring at her, or whispering and running in fear of her. Maleficent held onto hades arm, not wanting to deal with this today. Hades noticed his girlfriend's sudden uncomfortableness and looked around at the students glaring at her. He snarled at anyone who got close or looked at them the wrong way.

"Maleficent! Hades!" The couple looked up just in time to see Morgi running full speed at them, and than tackling them into a hug. "Holy shit I missed you!"

Maleficent hugged him back while hades just patted his back. "We missed you too Morgi" Maleficent said.

"Yeah good to see ya dude." Hades smiled. Morgi pulled away than smacked Hades in the chest. "What the hell man!? We haven't heard from you in months!!"

"Sorry!" Hades laughed. "I was kinda busy."

"To busy to send a "hey me and mal are alive" text!?"

"Yes."

Morgi rolled his eyes and grabbed Maleficents hand. "Come on, the others will be glad to see your okay!"

Hook and Uliana were more than happy to see that Maleficent was alive and well, and were more glad that they could punch hades for leaving them in the dark for the past few months. Yeah sure they're villain's, but they do care about each other. After catching the gang up on the events of the last few months; Uliana getting grounded, the entire events that happened with Maleficent, hook getting his hand eaten by a crocodile and he and Morgi became a couple, all students were called into the auditorium for orientation. The group sat in the very back on the top row so they could be in the shadows while still being able to see everyone. Maleficent opted to sit on Hades lap and go back to sleep instead of listening to the orientation. Their friends seemed to take notice of her sudden tiredness cause hook questioned it. "Is she okay?"

"Yeah she's fine." Hades answered. "She's learning the hard way that being this far from her domain is pretty exhausting."

"Domain?" Uli asked.

"Well, her environment." Hades then explained that Maleficent was now connected to the underworld, and one side effect of that was extreme fatigue when she's far away from the underworld.

"Is she going to be like this all year?" Hook asked, his voice full of concern.

Hades shook his head. "No, give her a few weeks. She just needs a bit of time to adjust."

"Ah, okay." Hook gave a thumbs up and went back to scooping out new kids to mess with it. Hades looked at Maleficent who was fast asleep against his shoulder, having a small grip on his shirt. "So cute.." he whispered to himself, kissing her forehead.
