The school year was coming close to an end. Many students were preparing for final exams and the last day of school. Merlin had promised that if majority students made 100% on the final exams that he would throw a massive party for them, so all students were studying to their heart's content. Well, almost all of them. The villains couldn't care less about the promise of a party because most were going to be at Hades and Maleficent's wedding. They purposely made it the last day of school to give the villains an excuse not to be in class, and cause Hades thought it would be funny to see all the goodie kids still in school while the villains partied. Many teachers tried to encourage the villains to put effort into the final exams so they students could have their party, but they were getting a party one way or another so they didn't care. Plus, Hades and Maleficent wedding was being thrown by a god and fae, if the majority of guest didn't have a hangover the next morning then they did something wrong.
One of the exams was a physical one made the schools coach. Every year the students sighed in relief because it was the easiest one out of all of them; or at least it was.
"You want me to what?" Maleficent asked the coach, completely confused.
"I want you to turn into a dragon and participate in this years final exam." The coach answered in a way that made it sound like this was a common thing.
Maleficent didn't do the exam the year prior so she had no idea what he was even talking about. "Yeah I'm going to need more information."
"Every year I set up a "challenge" so to speak for the students." The coach explained. "They have 10 minutes to get to the top of a massive staircase, save the princess from it and get back. Now normally we have a small dragon that suppose to make it hard, but he's so small that all the students just walk over him."
"So it's a sexist challenge where they have to save the pathetic damsel in destress? Funny." Maleficent replied sarcastically. "So what does this have to do with me?"
"I want to give them a real challenge this year. Unfortunately dragons are hard to find and even more hard to tame. But having a student who can turn into a dragon—"
Maleficent cut him off before he could finish the statement. "And why would I do this?"
"You won't have to do the exam yourself."
"Yeah, but I'll have to be apart of it so again, why would I do it?" She repeated.
The coach stood there thinking for a moment before answering. "You'll get to throw your fellow students in the lake?"
Maleficent raised an eyebrow to that. "I'm listening."
"I want this to be hard, but also fair. You will be able to block them, roar at them, or throw them in the lake near by. But no fire, no crushing, and nothing that will hurt them. They can't use iron weapons on you either. This is more of dodge and run kinda thing, but they can have something for protection." The coach explained. Maleficent had to admit, she was definitely interested. "What's in it for me?" She asked
"You get to throw students around?"
"I can do that anytime." Maleficent shrugged.
The coach sighed, "fine, what do you want?"
"I want out of your class the rest of the year starting now." She answered.
"Really?"
"And to have an automatic 100 in your class and for the exam."
"Kid you have straight A's in every class including this one, why do you want out and an automatic A?" He asked.
"Cause I have better things to do than run around your class everyday listening to kids whine because they're hit or broke a nail." Maleficent told him dryly.
