Getting back to normal

After the villains had their fun burning and pillaging auroras kingdom, they went back to Merlin academy before they were caught. They left Aurora, Philip and queen Leah in the briar patch to bleed but since they didn't keep the 3 fairies tired up they probably got out...eventually.

Even though the villains went back to campus didn't mean Hades or Maleficent followed. They went back to the other king to torment the royal family. Instead of killing them immediately, Maleficent hung the king up by his arms and made his family watch as she skinned him alive. To make it more fun, she's burn the area she had cut off so he couldn't bleed to death. His family screamed and begged for her to let him go but they fell on deaf ears. The queen and her sons tried to look away by the demons forced them to keep their heads up.

Hades watched for a bit, before leaving with some of his legion to search for the fae and Selki who had been sold over the last 50 years. Thankfully the king was dumb enough (or smart enough?) to leave records of everyone he sold to. After Maleficent had completely finished cutting the kings skin off, she cursed his kingdom with poverty and made it unable for them to have any form of trade outside the kingdom. The family was cursed for the next 50 years to never be able to be near fae or Selki again, and unable to make any money for their kingdom. After which she left to help Hades find the other fae and selki. It took months to find everyone. The demons took the records that the king kept and tracked down the families that bought them. They broke into their homes, freed the fae or Selki, and killed the humans with the bloody eagle punishment.

Hades and Maleficent were able to free many of the creatures, but unfortunately, not all were so lucky. They uncovered many graves where Selki had been buried after they died in childbirth or their kidnappers killed them. Many infant graves were found too and they were unfortunately forced to tell what living parents the baby had that the baby the had looked for was dead. Hundreds of fae were also found dead, some of their keepers killing them after they learned Hades and Maleficent were coming for them. With so many new souls showing up the Hades and Maleficent had to split up. Hades went back to the underworld to deal out the punishments for the souls while Maleficent continued the hunt for the remaining Fae and Selki. A few buyers did manage to survive though.

A small group of humans got together and decided ti buy fae and Selki just to set them free and keep families together. One person raised a Selki baby for its entire life as its mother was killed after its birth, and had been looking for any living family for the child. A different man ended up married to one of the selki who choose to stick around as apposed to go back out and risk being captured again. These humans also had blessings from the fae they freed and never got sick or had to deal with poverty or famine. Maleficent was very surprised by this but was happy that some of the creatures got a shot to live and be freed. Both Hades and Maleficent wanted to reward them for their efforts but they all refused. Saying they expected no reward, just wanted to make sure all the others were set free.

After months and months of searching and killing, all the living Fae and Selki were freed and their buyers killed. Hundred of humans were killed in the same gruesome way and hung outside their homes. During this time, no one heard from Hades or Maleficent aside from new reports and articles. Not even their best friends. Even after all the creatures were freed, they still had hundreds of souls to deal with and punish accordingly. It was early November when this all started, and they didn't get everything finished till the start of spring break. They never went to or thought about school in those months, and were able to bullshit their way into getting a leave of absence from school for "royal and diplomatic reasons".

By the time spring break rolled around, both villains were exhausted. They laid back on their thrones, finally getting through the last of the souls they killed. Hades stretched, ran his fingers through his hair and down his neck. "That was hell." He groaned.
