Wedding preparations

As winter break went on, Maleficent with the help of Hecate had gotten a good portion of the wedding planning down. The main things were now the guest list and clothes, which Hades was more or less helpful. Hades gave her a very short list of which Olympians would be attending; Athena, Artemis, Hermes, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, and Ares (and all underworld gods) and told her she can make the rest of the list. Now they were looking over the villains who they didn't want to attend their wedding. They crossed off Anastasia and Drizella cause of the whole winter formal incident, and Gaston because he was an ass. Yzma was going to be next but than she'd take it out on Kronk, who was invited and cooking, so they agreed to let her come. When it came down to the wedding efficient, they decided on asking Hecate. Sure she wasn't a goddess of marriage, but she was the closest to Hades and had a position of power in the underworld. Would Hera be mad, probably. Did Hades care, nope! Thanatos was picks as the best man, while Hook, Morgi, and his nephew Apollo were his groomsmen. Maleficent had Uliana as her maid of honor, and Cruella, Evil queen, and Nyx as her bridesmaids. Hermes was picked to be the ring barer and Aphrodites and Ares daughter Harmonia be the flower girl. Hades also made sure that the souls in Asphodel and Elysium would be able to watch via some magic portal Hecate was making. As stated previously, Kronk was cooking the wedding meal; Lamb or steak and potatoes for the main dish and salads and his famous spinach puffs for the sides. None of the villains or gods were vegetarians so that wasn't a problem. He asked the couple what cake they wanted, and got no answer from either party. Hades didn't care, to him cake was cake, Maleficent was the one who was actually having a problem. She was still working on her eating disorder with Hades, but some foods just made her uncomfortable because she knew how much sugar and stuff was in it. It didn't help that Kronk said he was have a bunch of different flavors made once winter break ended for them to try.

Hades thought the idea was fine, fuck he could even drag their friends into it, but he notice when he brought it up that it made Maleficent uncomfortable. "I can tell him not to make all that and just surprise us." He told her, mother nervously picking at her nails.

"N..no, it's fine." She told him, "you and the gang can have fun with it. And I'm sure Kronk is going to love having an excuse to bake a lot."

"But you should be included in this. Plus I want you to enjoy the wedding planning just as much as the wedding."

"I am enjoying it, just not this part." Maleficent said nervously. Hades looked at her sadly, he hated when her mind got the better of her. He walked up to her and pulled her into a hug. "You know I'm not going to do anything that makes you uncomfortable, right?"

"I know, Hades." She nodded.

"And I'm not going do anything that excludes you in our wedding planning, even if you tell me to." Maleficent slightly chucked at the last part of Hades comment. "So I will call Kronk and tell him to surprise us, okay?"

"Okay."

"Lotus flower get up!"

Maleficent groaned in annoyance. It was the last day of break and she wanted to sleep in; her fiancé had other plan. She tried to bury herself under the blankets but Hades had already grabbed them and pulled them off. "Come on sleepy head, got something to show you!"

"Can't it wait till later?" She whined putting the pillow over her head.

"Nope!" Hades yanked the pillow away and playfully hit her leg with it. "Now come on!" Maleficent could see how exited Hades was and reluctantly got up, wrapping the blanket around her shoulders. "You owe me so many cuddles and coffee." Hades laughed and put an arm around her, leading her to the throne room. As they got closer, Hades told Maleficent to close her eyes and led her forward to she wouldn't fall.
