Hades X Maleficent love story💜💙

Update

Hades continued to spoil maleficent every way he could. Whether it be a different flower every day or bringing her spinach puffs from Kronks. The prices were getting fed up with but Hades didn't care. He was loving this. Plus Maleficent was also on the "spoil my spouse" train. She had made Hades handmade jewelry that he never took off and would pull him away randomly for sex. Yeah none of their friends knew how she wasn't pregnant yet. Hades also made it a habit to class during Maleficent free period just so he could listen to her read. How he was passing, no one knew.

Though the lack of Hades going to class did catch up with him and landed him a week of detention. Which turned into 3 weeks cause he skipped the first week. Since she no longer had her husband to keep her company, Maleficent had sent Diaval to spy on Aurora and Philip during her free hour. Most of the time he had nothing new to report, but today was different

Diaval had flown back to Maleficent after spying on the king and queen. He spotted her under her normal tree and landed beside her, cawing to get her attention. She barely looked up from her book and turned him back to man. "Well?" She asked.

"Well the queen has lost another child and they are getting desperate." Diaval informed her. "I believe they mentioned something about a surrogate."

"They can try, but the curse will prevent it."

Diaval tilted his head confused, "what curse?"

"The curse I placed on her obviously." Maleficent answered not bothering to look up from her book.

Diaval kinda rolled his eyes, "More specific please Mistress."

"I cursed her to lose every child she tries to have."

"Wait that's the curse all the other servants keep talking about?" Diaval asked.

"Yes, what did you think it was?"

Diaval shrugged. "Honestly not sure Mistress. I just know I've heard many talk about."

"Well the servants are a gossipy bunch. Anything else?"

"No Mistress. Everything in that kingdom is still the same."

"Alright." Maleficent closed her booked and set it off to the side. "Good job Diaval."

"Thank you mistress!" He thanked her and bowed.

Maleficent waved her hands in front of her and a tray of different nuts and fruits appeared in between them. "Eat. Can't be having my pets starving."

"Oh I love this job." Diaval mumbled before sitting on the ground across from Maleficent and taking a few grapes in his hand. Diablo, who had been sitting on Maleficents shoulder the whole time, hopped down and stole a few berries off the tray. "Btw, where is the master?" Diaval asked.

"He has detention today."

"What'd he do?"

"Skipped too many classes to spend time with me." She answered feeding Diablo a grape. "Mistress if I may ask, why did you curse the queen to begin with?"

"Her father and husband burned down my home, killed all their fae including my parents and chained me to a tree to die in the fire. Her family has been causing my family problems for years, so I made sure that bloodline dies with Aurora." Maleficent explained going back to her book.

Diaval didn't know how to respond to that. He had heard when spying on the queen and king that Maleficent had burned down their kingdom but never that they had attacked first. "I'm sorry Mistress."

"It's alright. The family and the kingdom is cursed and their bloodline wont ever continue."

Diaval nodded and stared off for a moment before speaking again. "Can I ask something else Mistress?"

"I guess." She shrugged

"Why is it that you seem to care deeply for the kids in the underworld but the students here and the infants Aurora keeps losing you don't seem to care about?"

"It's the context of it."

"The context?"

Maleficent sighed and closed her book. "Yes it's the context. The children in the underworld aren't meant to be afraid. They really shouldn't have to be down there at all but when they unfortunately do, it's mine and Hades job to make sure they feel safe. Besides, many of them are already scared and confused so what good does it do to scare them more?"

"No good I suppose." Diaval guessed.

"Exactly. Now the students here, they aren't my job. They are annoying kids who I'll never see again till their time ends. I can have fun messing with them as they are not my responsibility. Plus, they already treat me like a freak so why waste my time trying to be nice to them." Maleficent explained to him.

"I guess you have a point Mistress."

"As for the children Aurora keeps losing, it's not my fault or my problem."

Diaval tilted his head confused since technically, it was her fault. It was Maleficent curse. "Okay I'm lost."

"I cursed her to never be able to carry a child till term, never in that curse did I give her a desperate need for them. She knows she won't ever be able to carry a pregnancy but she keeps trying to get pregnant anyway. Not my fault, not my problem."

Diaval nodded understanding, "I guess that makes sense. But what's stopping her from getting a surrogate or from Philip from cheating on her?"

Maleficent just smiled and stood up, opening the book she had and held her scepter out. Diaval stood up to watch and get out of the way. He realized the book she had was her spell book and got rather curious. She held her scepter out and a bright green orb appeared, showing Aurora and Philip in their palace.

Maleficent aimed her scepter at the orb when she said the spell and a blast of green lightning shot through it and hit the couple who were rightfully confused. Diaval watched in amazement, while also wishing he spoke Greek. He watched as the couple looked around confused as to watch just happened. Maleficent had an evil grin on her face, clearly proud of whatever she just did.

"Okay, that was cool, but what did you do to them exactly?" Diaval asked.

"Updated the curse." Maleficent answered. "Aurora will now never be able to have a biological child, whether it's throw natural methods or IVF or surrogacy. And Philip will only be able to convince a child with Aurora."

"So she can still get pregnant but it won't stay?"

"Correct."

"How long will it take for her to notice?" He asked.

"Guess we'll wait and see."
