Chapter 58: It's Showtime! (Abyssal Hunters)

A week has passed and it's finally time for the shuffle unit live. "....I-I'm so nervous...w-will I be okay...?" Ito said. "Ahaha calm down leader I believe you'll be fine! After all this is not your first live right?" Mikejima said. "Ne don't mistakenly call Takasaki-kun leader when on stage during the drama okay? Our leader for that is Otogari-kun after all~" Ritsu said.

"Ahaha don't worry I shall not make that mistake! I'm the Sensei anyways!" Mikejima said. "It's almost time. Let's get going." Adonis said. The rest nodded before heading on stage. "Hello there everyone thank you for waiting! Welcome to Abyssal Hunter's Shuffle Unit live! It's your favourite mama!" Mikejima said as the audience screamed.

The outfit he is wearing a blue, cloud-patterned samue-styled kimono and black pants. He has a scabbard with a sword inside it on the right side of his hip. He also has a hand-carved fox mask along with a mark on the left side of his forehead crafted by Anzu and Ito.

"Before we begin let Himeru and the others introduce ourselves. Firstly Takasaki-san if you would." Himeru said. "H-Hai! U-Um...I'm the leader of Abyssal Hunters...From Elysian...T-Takasaki Ito...I'm nervous but I'll make sure...to have fun on this stage...with my fellow shuffle unit members...!" Ito said as the audience screamed.

Himeru and Ito are wearing the same outfit as Mikejima. But the only difference is that both Himeru and Ito are wearing hanafuda earrings on both ears.

"Next is Himeru. He is from Crazy: B." Himeru said. "From UNDEAD, Otogari Adonis." Adonis said. "From MaM Mikejima Madara!" Mikejima said. "Lastly is me. From Knights Sakuma Ritsu~" Ritsu said. "Very soon our drama will start so please sit and enjoy the show." Himeru said before the five of them leave the stage to prepare for the drama.

A while later the drama starts as the stage curtains opens. It starts off with Ito, Himeru, Adonis and Ritsu having a campfire outside. They failed to complete their mission of eliminating their target which is the Sensei of Schale. Knowing the ruler, Beatrice, will not take the failure lightly the four of them ran away just like Ritsu suggested after they lost to Trinity.

While they were resting they were suddenly attacked by some students(Yumenosaki students). Turns out they are from Arius Satellite School who have orders from Beatrice to take away Ritsu as per the deal of not successfully finishing the mission.

"Wai-?! Give Ouji back!" Adonis said as he, Himeru and Ito tried to fight back. However the Arius students were too strong for them and the three ended up getting separated while Ritsu was brought back to Arius.

It's been a few days since Ritsu was forcefully sent back. Adonis has been running here and there just to find his Squad members. However it was no use. No matter how far he went he couldn't find Himeru or Ito. In the end with a gritted teeth he head to Trinity General Academy to find a certain someone who can help.

When Adonis reached the school he saw Mikejima outside as well. Mikejima was surprised to see Adonis here. "...Saori?" He asked. Without saying anything Adonis put down his weapon and his cap down. He then went on both his knees. Mikejima didn't respond to that as he stares at Adonis.

"....Sensei...they...they took him...they took Ouji...And the others...I don't know what become of them after Arius attacked us....I don't even know if they're still alive...."

"...I'm so useless...At this rate...Atsuko...Ouji is going to die..! Tomorrow at sunrise Atsuko will be sacrificed...! I know you can't trust me...but I beg of you...please..."

"...Ouji was raised just for this moment....I don't know the full details but it has been her fate since birth...'She' said that...if I obeyed her she won't just save Ouji but the others as well...'She' also said that...if I stole the Eden Treaty and granted Arius the Saint Justina Council...if I could seize the Trinity and Gehenna districts...Atsuko wouldn't need to die...
