Chapter 30: Christmas Live Act (White Team)

"AMAZING!!! Hibiki Wataru has never heard of a sad story like this! Ahh to think all Vil wanted to do was to end his friend's suffering...." Wataru said as he reappeared again.

"We can sob and cry later we still have the White Team left to see. Well then White Team it's your showtime!" Wataru says.

The act starts with two people Tsukasa and Souma training with their swords. They were fighting back and forth and eventually Tsukasa lost as his sword is released from his grasp and he fell.

"Stand up. This is not over yet. Listen up. Sword fighting is all about spirit. Form? Technique? Not important! You don't cut down your opponents with a sword. You cut them down with your whole being!" Souma said.

Another person then entered the stage revealing to be Shiro. "Oi Okita he's still new here. Don't go hurting him too much." He said. "Don't be ridiculous Hijikata-dono! We can't go easy on him." Souma said.

"If he can't even handle this then he's not fit to be a Shinsengumi soldier." He added. "Now get up and let's keep go-!" Souma said as he suddenly stop. "You okay?" Shiro asked.

"...I'm sorry it's nothing. Why don't we take a little break new guy? Go clean that mud from your clothes while you can." Souma said putting his katana back and leaving.

Shiro was quiet for a while before speaking. "All right new guy that's enough practice for today." Tsukasa was confused. "Huh? But Okita-san said we were just taking a break..."

"No talking back. Just return to your room and get ready to head out on patrol. I don't like what I've been seeing from Choushu or Tosa lately. Make sure you're good to go at any time." Shiro said.

"H-Hai!" Tsukasa said as he goes back to his room. In the meantime Souma head to somewhere else. When he reached he saw many kids playing catch.

"Yo! Looks like you're having fun picking on someone aren't you?" Souma said. A few kids revealing to be Sora, Tomoya, Shinobu, Tori and Yuta turned to see Souma smiling at them.

"It's Souji! Souji's here!" Sora said. "Run away run away!" Tori said as they all ran. "Ah do you really think you could get away from me that easily?" Souma said as he went after the kids.

Souma was fast enough to immediately get Sora. "W-Wow...that was awesome Souji! How did you do that?" Shinobu asked. "Fufu anyone who trains in Tennen Rishinryu can learn to do that with enough practice." Souma replied.

"At any rate you know better than to pick on other kids. That's not how we play nice right?" He said. "But he doesn't even cry. It's mysterious." Tori said.

"He's been coming here to play a lot lately but he never says a word." Yuta added. "Oya? A new guy?" Souma asked looking at the person who is revealed to be Adonis.

"Well whatever the case I'm still counting in you to make sure you all play nice! That's a promise okay? And that goes for you too." Souma said looking at Adonis.

Adonis didn't say single word in response. "Oya? You really are a quiet one." Souma said. Another person entered the stage revealing to be Hiiro.

"Are you out here again Okita-san? Serizawa-san is looking for you, you know?" He said. "Oh Yamanami-dono. All right then I'll be right there." Souma said.

"Well then I better be off but let's play again later okay?" He added. "Bye bye Souji!" Tomoya said as the two left. While walking Hiiro asked.

"You've been playing with the neighborhood children a lot lately haven't you?" "Yep. The kid loves me after all. Even Kamo-dono joins us sometimes." Souma replied.
